It sanitized your blades and oiled up your clippers at the same time great product.

This a go to for me. I just cut my baldy and shape up my beard myself. This product is easy to use for clippers quick clean. You still should use a quality clipper oil or wd40 from time to time my barber friends says.. All my clippers have lasted years using this product from Andis and Andis clippers. It clippers get hot it cools them quick as well.

I bought this cooling spray years ago when my superfluff dog was still around, and I used it every time I groomed him. He had wildly thick, puffy fur and had to be shaved down in the summer months. I used this stuff in combination with the Andis 22405 UltraEdge Clipper. It's a fairly heavy-duty clipper, and since it runs off of electricity from an outlet and not dinky little batteries, the whole thing tends to get pretty hot. Shaving the dog's thick fur usually took well over an hour, and I would always have to stop every couple minutes to let the clippers cool down so his skin wouldn't get burnt. Once I got this spray, it sped up the whole process. This spray won't take the blades from scalding hot to ice cold, but it WILL take them down from scalding to warm. Sometimes you will just have to wait a couple minutes no matter what – the spray just shortens the wait.Aside from cooling the blades, the spray also provides great lubrication and disinfectant properties. So even if your blades don't get all that hot, it's probably a good idea to use this stuff either way. My dog had very sensitive skin, always getting rashes all the time, and this spray never seemed to cause him any trouble. If anything, it probably prevented skin issues, because I'm sure the blades would have collected tons of bacteria if I never cleaned them with this. The spray also helps keep the cut fur from getting gunked up on in the blades because it slides off more easily when there is sufficient lubrication.The size of the bottle is seriously huge and lasts a long time. I don't think I even ended up finishing the bottle before my dog passed away. As for the smell and consistency – I don't love it. It doesn't smell the best, but what can you do? You also have to spray A LOT on the blades to get them to cool down, and in turn it ends up dripping all over your hands. It's not hard to wash off or anything, it's just a bit uncomfortable to have on your hands the entire time. This all just comes with the territory though – minor inconveniences happen when you groom your dog at home.Overall, I would recommend this spray to any at-home groomers. It works well at cooling the blades and keeping your clippers lubricated and clean.

My clippers can get hot after grooming my big Poodles. When I frequently spray the blade, everything stays cooler longer and both my dog and I are most comfortable. I find it is great value for its money and I like the way it sprays evenly. It does not leave a greasy residue. My only complaint is the result of my clumsiness. I have knocked a few of these bottles onto the floor and the spray nozzle breaks off. It is impossible to reattach, and I therefore must buy a new can. This is part of my grooming kit and can’t do without it.
