Legrand Pass & Seymour 3861CC6 30 Amp 125/250V 3 Pole 3 Wire Dryer Angle Plug, NEMA 10 30P, Black (1 Count)

I needed to convert several 50 foot 220v extension cords with molded ends to this kind of plug so that I could use it on my similarly made outlets. The plug was complete and included both flat blade and 'L' ground prong. The assembly was extremely easy and the plugs assembled quickly and precisely. I am very happy with these plugs.

I'm leaving a review since no one else has yet. This is the plug you want. It is well put together, sturdy in the hand without any loose parts jangling around. I ordered the Range/Dryer plug (NEMA 10-30P and the NEMA 10-50P) and it included both the 30amp "L" shaped prong and the straight 50 amp prong, so it will work with either outlet type, depending on which one I put in. This is great for me since I'm using it to make an adapter extension cord for my welder. It's a 125/250 volt plug....not much else left to say. It's made in China but UL listed. The brand name is Pass & Seymour. The storefront I ordered from delivered fast (which is becoming more and more rare right now).

Good plug for a value price. Easy to assemble, sturdy connections.

This is a solid plug with connections that are strong and no wiggle. Held together with four screws (no plastic clips to break), and an additional two screws on the strain relief. Nuts for all screws were captive in the plastic housing, so easy to assemble.

Ground pin comes with two options, D or L shaped. The strain relief clamp isn't the best (meant to accommodate multiple sizes, but you may need to adjust the fit). Otherwise, great value & I was happy

Quality product. Three prong plugs are getting hard to find, since most codes now require four. Most retailers are discontinuing stocking of three pole 220v plugs.I like the construction of this, since the prongs can be removed, to make installing wires much easier. The wires can be attached to the lugs, then bent into place for a better fit.The wire retaining clamp is a good design, too.
