Disappointed
When I initially bought this turner, it was being advertised with two wooden spools to add to the end of the metal wands to hold the cups in place. When I received the item, it was missing the wooden spools. I reviewed the listing to make sure I wasn't mistaken and contacted customer service via Amazon to inquire about the missing pieces and they sent me a new one to use while I was returning the one I bought. The second one arrived and was still missing the wooden spools. I didn't know that the foam rolls were actually what I was supposed to use to hold the cups in place. I gave it a try and my cup fell off and is ruined because of it. I absolutely love the design of the machine with the locknut in place to hold the wand steady, but the foam is NOT a reliable stabilizer for the cup, a football works much better. Do not waste your time on this machine. Now that I go back and look at the item I purchased, it is now listing the foam rolls instead of the wooden spools. I wouldn't have purchased it in the first place if I knew it was coming with foam.

Not as described earlier
*TEAL review*I ordered a teal and a pink model. The teal came as described with wooden holders for the cups. The pink did not. The teal came as described but is no longer available.Pink model reviewThis is a review of the pink model. Came in not as described. It was missing the wooden cup holders that were in the item description when purchased. I ordered a replacement from Amazon and the replacement came without the wooden holders as well. Highly upset. Now the description is changed to reflect cheap cup diy holders. Machine is perfect.

Foam wands do not work!
I bought one of these a couple of months ago, and it came with a wand with a wood circle on the end. I liked it so much, I ordered another one. The second one, however, came with foam that you wrap around the wand. I tried and tried and could not get it to either hold my cup on, or if I made it larger (tighter) I couldn’t get it out without tearing the foam. Luckily, I saw the company sells just the wands with the wood circles on the end, and I purchased two (for different sized cups). This fixed my problem, but I ended up spending about twice what I intended. I won’t buy another turner unless they go back to the original wood circle wands.

Suddenly stopped working.
After w months of use, it just suddenly stopped working. It is plugged in, nothing changed about where or how I was using it, it just up and died.Prior to this, I had no issues. It’s very quiet, cute colors, the wooden things at the end don’t fit a lot of cups and there is not really a way to extend the arm. But it’s a good turner for someone who is just starting out.

Good for beginners, maybe mine is defective?
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. So this is the 5th cup I’ve made. I had noticed little grayish flecks when cleaning up, but hadn’t really thought much about it until seeing it around where the rod comes out. It’s like it’s melting the plastic. At first I thought maybe I had been aggressive while applying epoxy, but I’m right handed. If it had been from my force, it would be rubbing against the other side. Other than that issue causing me to be a little afraid of the unit, it’s good to start out on. I did replace the foam with footballs after a project fell off, but it all worked out. I’m looking for something else though, just because the shedding of plastic has me a bit nervous.Update: vibration has gotten bad. Bad enough that I’m updating this review. The vibration, at the same time of each rotation, is causing some weird spots in my epoxy.

The foam mount is not a great option
I got this same product before but with actual tumbler holders that I like a LOT better. The foam pieces this one came with don’t really stay on or make much practical sense to me. It is not easy to keep the cup level whatsoever. The foam just looks like something used for packaging. I should have read the description better but I thought I was ordering what I got in the past. The machine works though, it’s not loud.

No assembly required and turns even!
I was nervous to buy this because there were no reviews. So far, so good. I didn’t get the wooden discs it advertised but I did get foam. It works ok but I would have preferred to have the discs. The foam hasn’t failed me and it’s easy to use.
