Belly Band Holster
I purchased a more economic belly band to test use of a belly band holster. I am overly pleased with the quality, fit and comfort of the Alkate belly band. I also love the fact that I can remove or move magazine pouch to a different position on the belly band. There is also a place for your cell phone. Most importantly my small and subcompact handguns fit safely in the belly band holster.

Ok concealment holster. You need to plan and train with it.
This is a great idea and the concept is right on. For the most part this is OK. I like the adjustable fit. I have worn it over and undershirt and under shirt and experimented with it for a couple weeks. Depending on your usage, this may not be ideal for conceal carry as there is significant effort that has to be used to get the firearm to ready. Since it is a universal fit holster my 1911 does not 'stay put' very well. Now I carry a full size 1911 and the barrel tip protrudes below that band. This has cause some pinching when bending over in certain positions and angles. The storage areas work great for storing other EDC items but carrying extra magazine sometime causes printing. If I am wearing a tighter fit shirt you can clearly see the magazines under the shirt. Carrying other self defense items such as a stun gun or pepper spray, you still do not have quick and easy access to those items. If you are attacked you will not be able to respond sufficiently. As I said, it is a great idea and concept and I think you can make it work if you were preparing to be in a situation where you are expecting trouble but for casual everyday carry, in an emergency situation, you may not be able to quickly and effectively respond to a threat. I would practice with it and run drills with it to get muscle memory so you can 'automatically' draw the weapon and prepare for a confrontation.

Very comfortable.
Great for medium sized or small pistols. Plus extra slots for clips and energency money. Perfect for survivalists or anyone who wants to have a concealed backup. Just wear a long loose shirt or sweater over it. Great for this crazy world and carry your little friend in comfort.

No as supportive
Not as supportive as I was expecting. Gun still moves to much.

Very comfortable holster!
I needed to find a comfortable holster that could do two things: A) accommodate a handgun with a laser guard and B) allow me to wear gym clothes and still carry/conceal my weapon. This belly band works perfectly! It took some trial and error to find the best position so that my gun didn’t show through my clothes (printing), but I finally got it to work. The top of the band is just below my belly button and I position my weapon on my right hip. I then pull my gym shorts over the bottom half of the band only exposing only the handle of my gun. Once my shirt comes down the weapon is totally invisible. No printing at all. Also, I think this is safer than appendix carry because the gun is pointed toward the ground next to my leg instead of right at my groin. It’s also more comfortable for driving/sitting. When holstered, the elastic material forms a tight protective layer around the trigger so I feel totally safe in terms of any negligent discharges. Not to mention this thing is very comfortable to wear. Keeps my weapon nice and secure and I’m able to feel it’s always there without drawing attention to myself by reaching for it.The one and only “con” I’ve come across, and this doesn’t necessarily have to do with the product itself, is that when jogging my gun bounces around quite a bit even when I tighten the band as much as possible. However, my weapon is the S&W M&P9 2.0 Compact and I’ve heard that it’s one of the heavier handguns compared to others of its size. For $17 and free shipping, I cannot complain. 5 stars!

Exactly what I needed, so far.
New to EDC and still getting used to how my pistol(p365 w/ Streamlight's TRL-6 laser/light attachment) feels at my hip with IWB holster. The kydex IWB holster I have tends to dig into my "love handles" and pokes at my leg/lap when sitting... This thing is very comfortable, it fits my gun along with it's attachment, and I'm able to wear the standard size higher up my torso, around the largest part of my belly(approx 36" waist/44 belly). If anything, I might like the standard size to Velcro a bit tighter, as I like the position but fear if I loose weight the standard size may be too large to remain secure during physical activity. I currently have it as tight as i can get it before bumping up against the sewn in into the magazine pouch. This could probably be fixed rather easily by sewing in some extra Velcro strips. This seems like a very good value thus far. However, should I ever have to clean this thing I fear the stitching could easily come loose in the wash and deteriorate rather quickly as it looks rather loose and sparse.Update 8/2/20: Realized sortly after writing this review that the mag pouch actually CAN be removed and repositioned, allowing for a tighter fit on standard sizes if needed. Some of the stitching has started to fray around the "holster" button-flap adding to my concern with longevity. But overall, I would buy another one. And will probably have too.

Not bad. I'd buy it again.
Using this for an Equalizer and Holosun red dot, with a side-order of small love handles, and I'm still somewhat undecided on just how much I like this thing. While at this point I still very much prefer my normal IWB, this does work well when I'm just wanting to wear gym shorts or sweats. It took some adjusting and trial and error stuff, but it's comfortable enough and allows quick access if needed. It holds the firearm securely enough to be able to run or whatever, and the versatility of the extra mag holder is nice as well. When it comes to re-holstering quickly though?....forget about it. Not happening. Can't speak for the longevity of it yet, but so far...I'd still buy it again.
