I researched childrens melatonin and found a lot of information I was unaware of. One of those things being that several different brands were tested and most of the levels of melatonin were not as described. So for example out of 31 companies testing 3mg melatonin, several had larger quantities in it, some had less, etc. I wasn’t comfortable with giving my kids something that I really wasn’t sure what they were actually getting. I have 3 kids and they all have trouble winding down at night. Routines, baths, calming music, no devices, I do all the things. But my 9 year old has always been this way, as well as my 8 year old with adhd and my 2 year old appears to be following in their footsteps. I continued my research as I’d prefer to have them on something natural like melatonin than pharmaceutical sleeping aids. I found this brand with hundreds and hundreds of 5 star reviews. I read through many, and parents of children of all ages liked this product. I was comfortable with the amount of research that’s gone into this particular brand plus all the first hand experience in the reviews. My children respond well to it, I usually give it anywhere from 20-40 minutes before bed and they are able to calm down, relax, and go to bed smoothly. They stay asleep through the night and do not wake up with those nasty groggy side effects that accompany sleeping pills. I highly recommend this brand of melatonin.

We have four kids that have trouble sleeping from time-to-time and will ask for this melatonin due to its effectiveness and the fact that they all love the flavor. Recommend it!

We have tried liquid melatonin and it is hard to ensure we are dosing correctly. I like the convenience of the 1mg pill for my two littles. I don't understand why the bottle needs to be so large when the pills don't fill it even 1/4 full but that isn't important to the overall effectiveness! I gave this about an hour before bedtime and both my littles were ready to settle down for bed without any fights. They do tend to wake up earlier than normal the morning after but they stay asleep all night. There are no drowsy or uneasy mornings with this!
