This shampoo worked great on our new puppy. He was 9 weeks old when we got him and he had dry, itchy, and somewhat flaky skin. Tried this shampoo and we could see a difference right away. After two more baths, each a week apart, his skin was back to normal. No more itching and no more flakes! We also have a Lab that is often itchy, due to seasonal allergies, and this shampoo really helped with that.We liked the fragrance too. I've read some complaints about that, so we were expecting it to smell bad, but it doesn't smell bad at all. Highly recommended!

My dog would itch after every bath even with "special" oatmeal shampoo. I asked the groomer what she thought would help and she showed me Bio Groom medicated shampoo. It doesn't smell great BUT it stopped the itch. I rinse him well and the medicated smell goes away by the next day. Thank you for saving my dogs skin!

This is a good product if you pet has skin issues of any sort, especially dry or sensitive skin. It is a little pricy, but I like the fact that it uses a sulfur compound instead of pharmaceuticals, and seems to be more natural. It will tend to dry out sensitive skin, so a follow-up shampoo with baby shampoo or a good cream rinse is helpful. It does control itching and scratching with my pet who has short hair and sensitive skin. The price at Amazon beats the prices at local pet supply stores.

We use the regular Bio guard shampoo, our Carolina / German Shepherd had some dry skin so we already trusting the bio guard brand went with this , works great and smells good too! Highly recommend!

My dog has Cushings Disease and it did wonders for his skin. It doesn't smell very good putting it on but I can't smell it at all after the bath. Hair is so soft and skin lesions are all gone!

My Min Pin has a skin disorder that causes his skin to be dry, flaky and body odor. I bought this product based on the previews of those that said it helped their dogs. It turned out to be a disappointment because it actually did not do any thing to help my dog. Not to say that I think his skin is even more flaky and dry. Body odor still comes back after a few days. Would not buy this for my dog again.

This shampoo is a life saver. I have used it on multiple dogs for itchy and bad skin conditions and it has always helped. Recently my dog got another skin problem and has scabs all over her body got this again hoping it will help

I did not like the smell .. Even hogue in know it was medicinal the smell was very strong and did not really stop any itching which is what I was hoping for
