Guinness World Records 2014 Hardcover – 12 September 2013

Guinness World Record 2014 is really a good World Records Book. I am a regular collector of Record Books. Every year I try to update my collection with the latest edition.My 9 year old boy also likes it very much. He loves to see some of the images in 3D using the free app.In addition to updating my collection, it is a real value for my money. I recently got this book.It is a great one and have quite a good collection of records but the book that i got had scratches on its cover....and the top cover was also faded...overall it was an okay..type

Very Inspiring. It proves that Hobbies can also create Records.The Book itself is a Record in itself since it maintains a Database of such Knowledgeable Information.

I got this to get my son into the wonderful world of world records. He is eight years old and absolutely loves the splash of colors and the razzmatazz (3D and all). Must agree the production quality is excellent. However, I grew up reading the Guinness books of old in paper back which used to be literally crammed with records. This one gives most records a miss and you will only find a small collection of records compared to the books of yore. In fact, I could not find my personal favourite the Animal section. All I got was a collection of records belonging to various classes of animals which did not even include mammals and apes.The included android app and 3D are okey dokey but will not win any awards. Overall I think Guinness could have a better job on this.
