I have looked for a LONG time for the perfect wooden tracks to add to our set. This is it. The value is amazing for what you get. And the pieces in the set are exactly what we needed. We wanted a longer track and this set does not come with a whole bunch of tracks that are useless or very short. These tracks are juat what I've been looking for. My expectations were met and exceeded!

We bought my daughter a Brio set and it came with some really great bridges and accessories, but we really wanted some more track to make a track that was a bit more complex. I went back and forth trying to decide if I should order this huge box of track pieces or if I should get more brio brand tracks. I am so glad I bit the bullet and get these instead. They are a fraction of the price of the branded tracks and really they are very nice. I would have to say the brio brand are maybe a tiny bit nicer, in that they are maybe sanded a but more to get an absolutely flawless track. But, these are very nice. I have a hard time telling them apart from the brio tracks most of the time. The best part: We got a ton of track for a fraction of the cost, so my daughter can really build a huge track and have lots of fun.

Gave this to my son for his 2nd bday with other amazon "off" brand wooden train set bridges and tunnels. For the cost of a small name brand set, I was able to put together a really nice big set!! All the Thomas trains work great on it and it works great with the thomas tracks and other brand bridges and tunnels. 100 pieces is a lot of track and I'm sure we haven't used half of it yet but I can see that one day there will be a train track weaving through every room if the house. However, I can already see a need for the (male/male, female/female) adapter pieces, so I will be buying some soon. My two yo can set it up and move it around without any help. He's already had hours of fun with it!! But no, only curved pieces are double sided.

Typical track that fits with any wooden train. Not much to say but I recommend, would buy again.

So far so good. I purchased these tracks to go with an Imaginarium set that I purchased from Toys “R” Us and they work but they don’t quite fit exactly like the Imaginarium set. That being said it’s a great deal and a great value and my grandson loves them so I’m very pleased with this purchase. Yes some pieces are a little small and some are a little larger but they do the job and in the end that’s what really counts for my three-year-old grandson.

We got this track set because my 2.5-year-old is really into trains right now and he loves setting up tracks. He has a small train set that he frequently plays with and by adding this set he has more play options instead of just going in a small circle. It is easy for him to set up. He is not at the stage yet where he can do anything elaborate and he hasn't been able to set it up in a complete circle, but with time that will come to him. He is content with either mine or my husband's help completing the track or just playing with it in a linear lay out. Only 2 issues. 1) I wish it came with an adaptor kit with male/male and female/female pieces because when you use the junctions to make inner circles the track ends up male/male and cannot be connected. I plan to buy the separate adaptors, but it would have been nice if it came with some. 2) The other issue is that we have had it only a week and one piece has a small chip at the female connector. It isn't bad enough where it is not usable, but I was surprised it chipped already. Granted it was probably thrown in the box connected to another piece, so I can't exactly fault the set. Other than that they seem pretty durable. I had originally had a different set on my wish list, but this came up as a lightening deal at a cheaper price than the other, so I figured I would give it a try. I was not disappointed. I would get this set again if we need more track in the future, especially if I get another good deal.

we bought this to augment a 'train set' that has various bridges and extra pieces. this came first and i set up a free form track only using most of the pieces from this box. to tell the truth, my kids would probably be fine with just this! no risers to fall, no complicated set-up, no extra stuff to get knocked over. no frustrated kids!the track pieces are sturdy, well made, good quality for the price. looks like this is a winner that will last the long haul. so far my kids are happy with this set and i'm getting my $ worth. wonder what they will think when they get the fancy track with extra bells and whistles (seems totally unnecessary at this point!).

My grandson loves playing with these so much that I had to buy a second set. We now have tracks throughout the entire house when he comes to visit. So much fun to watch him play with them. All aboard! Toot toot!
