Great watch.......well done Amazon.
I have, up to now, six wrist watches and two pocket watches ranging from a $50 Timex for work, to a $800 Swiss Rotary (we Brits love our Rotary!!). What do I have to say about my new acquisition? My Stuhrling arrived earlier and I set it over six hours ago against my Rotary. So far so good!! I have no plans to submerge it in water, nor do I intend to have it engraved. I am not a captain of industry, and neither am I too upset if, in time, it proves to gain or lose the odd minute over a 24 hour period. My 76 year young other Rotary, passed to me from my grandfather, gains about a minute every four days, but I wouldn't get rid of it for the world. This piece is beautiful, well constructed and a welcome addition to my collection. I would recommend this little gem to anyone who wants a beautiful timepiece, and especially at the price.Update: It's Murphy's Law that within an our of my review the watch jumped an hour. I called customer services, and within 18 hours a replacement arrived. This watch has been running for over 24 hours without a hitch. More interesting is that the box of the first had, embossed in gold, on its orange lid the name Stuhrling, and inside one elastic band to the right with the documents. With the new one, embossed in gold on the lid, is a quote from Max Stuhrling, and inside an extra band on the left under which is a cleaning cloth. It is logical to assume the second is a different, and more recent batch that has resolved problems encountered by previous reviewers. A hint. My gran always told me that when setting the time of a mechanical watch always do it clockwise, otherwise you are rotating the mechanism against itself. This may have an effect on the watches life and continued accuracy. P.S. Thank you Amazon, for your excellent service.

Beautiful and Accurate
The watch is beautiful. I really love it. I have had it for 3 days. In 33 hours it was 7 seconds fast. That is almost a fluke for a pocket watch. It is likely that yours may not be that good. To me, having experience with pocket watches 15 seconds in 24 hours would be great. I love this thing.

A good, classic pocket watch for the money
This is a good watch, though not without some minor issues that most likely will not detract from your ability to enjoy the watch. The one major qualm I have with the watch is it lacks a hacking second hand (i.e., when you pull the crown all the way out, the second hand still moves, which makes setting a precise time difficult). The movement overall seems fine for the price point. The case reflects it uses the ST 91650 movement. I couldn't find much information about that particular movement, but it seems similar movements used by Stuhrling are made in China. Your mileage may vary on movements built in China, but the quality seems to have increased in recent years. The Stuhrling website claims the movement is 19 jewels and has a 30 hour power reserve, though I'm having some doubts about the 30 hour claim (the printing on the back of the actual watch says its 17 jewels, which may have an impact on the power reserve). It beats at 18,000 VPH (or about five ticks a second), which gives the second hand an acceptable sweep. The movement is showcased via a partially skeletonized dial and an exhibition caseback. Which brings me to another minor issue with the watch: I think it would look more classically styled if the dial was not skeletonized. The skeletonized dial is interesting, but means the Stuhrling logo is imprinted on the glass. The logo looks like a sticker (I often find myself trying to pick the logo off of the glass), and doesn't seem to fit the overall design of the dial. The hour markers are roman numerals, and seem in-line with the price point of this watch (it goes for $85 on the Stuhrling website). The hands are Breguet-style, and are the perfect size for the watch face. The hour and minute markers are very legible, and the printing seems clean and crisp. The front and back crystals are Krysterna, which seem to be unique to Stuhrling watches. Stuhrling claims these types of crystal are more scratch resistant than sapphire. Again, I have some doubts about that claim. I will say the crystal on my watch shows no signs of scratches, despite the less-than-delicate manner with which I treat it. The case is made from polished 316L stainless steel, which is the type of stainless steel used in most watches. The finishing is acceptable, with no sharp edges. The back of the case has a desk stand, which is a nice touch, as it allows the watch to act as a desk watch when not being worn. The crown is an onion-shaped push/pull, and does what it is supposed to. The watch comes with a 12 inch stainless steel link chain. The chain is long enough that I can go about all of my daily activities without worrying about the watch being pulled from my pocket. The belt clip at the end of the chain affixes to my suit belt loops with no issues. All in all, the watch seems to offer good value for $85, and would be a good purchase for someone who likes to add the occasional flair to their wardrobe.

Updated review - Unfortunately it stopped working after 3 months.
I really liked this watch. Tracks time well and looks amazing! Unfortunately it stopped working after only 3 months. I carried this watch in my pocket daily and wound it every morning. I found that it tracked time well with only minor adjustments now and again. The watch ran a little fast at times and this I feel is to be expected...Unfortunately while winding the watch as usual today the winder spun back all the way as though it had not been wound at all. The watch stopped ticking. I can wind it, but when I release the winder it spins back and the watch stops ticking.Originally I had given this watch a 5 star review, but this is not acceptable and I would give a zero star rating at this point if possible. 3 months of gentle use and daily winding and this failure is not indicative of a quality made piece.

Didn't Last Long
This watch was a gift for my husband. It was very nice looking, and he really enjoyed using it, however it wasn't long before it broke. I forget exactly what the issue was, however, it should have been covered under warranty. With the warranty, there is still a fee you have to pay to send it back and see if they can repair it, and the fee was enough that it wasn't worth it. It would have been about the same to just buy another watch.

Nice watch
Nice watch at a reasonable price specially given that on these days is difficult to find pocket watches and when you find them they tend to kind of expensive and not that good looking after all.
