serumtologie C Serum 22 – Pure Vitamin C Serum for Face with Hyaluronic Acid & Ferulic Acid | Potent Anti-Aging Serum for Dark Spots, Fine Lines and Wrinkles | Brightening Serum - 1.15 Fl Oz

I bought this about a month ago and I wanted to wait before reviewing it. I'm a pharmacist and also a huge beauty junkie. I know that some of these skin care products are not proven to improve your skin but I still really wanted to try this after reading about it being one of the best vitamin C products. It has a tacky, watery consistency that can spread on the the face and neck. It states you can use 5-7 drops on the bottle but I usually use closer to 7 drops since I apply it on my neck as well (I think 5 would suffice if you're applying just to your face). I use it every morning after washing my face and then apply an SPF 30 moisturizer right after. I'm 25 so I wouldn't say that I'm looking for extreme anti-aging. I'm not too sure what I was looking for this except improvement in my skin after reading about the benefits of Vitamin C use and maybe just protecting my skin in general in the long run. So what's the verdict after 1 month? Again, I do not have wrinkles or lines yet so I was not looking for this serum to "anti-age" me. However, I noticed my skin is now really radiant when I wake up in the morning- no matter if I have a good or bad night of sleep. Even though I don't have acne, I have always worn foundation in the past because my skin looked so dull when waking up in the morning. I have started to notice, and this is not something I have noticed after starting any other products, when I wake up in the morning, my skin does not have this same dull look. This is not just after I use the serum- I notice it looks radiant even first thing in the morning before I wash my face. I look less tired and have a glow to my skin. I don't know if it has made me have less under eye bags but I just makes me look so awake and refreshed that they are a lot less noticeable. Noticing this new radiance in my skin has made me feel more comfortable with not wearing foundation on my skin as much or putting concealer under my eyes. Again, this is not just after using the vitamin C serum. My skin looks radiant now first thing in the morning even BEFORE I put this serum on which means that it is IMPROVING my skin and not just moisturizing my skin when I wear it! I was also worried when starting this serum that my skin would be slightly red after using it as my skin is pretty sensitive and reddens around my nose when I use anything not suitable for sensitive skin. I was happy to find that this did not make my skin red at all. I read that this particular form of Vitamin C does not irritate the skin. It is fragrance-free as well which is another plus for those with sensitive skin! Can I 100% say this certainty that it was this vitamin c serum made my skin radiant? No, I can't. But I can say that since using it, my skin has becoming more radiant and there has nothing else new that I added to my routine. It is not just a subtle difference either. I really feel like I have a youthful, rejuvenated glow to my skin skin. I look happy and well rested all the time now (even if I'm feeling far from it haha). After 1 month of using this serum, I will continue adding it to my beauty routine. I would rather buy this for $35 and use 1 bottle for about 3 months then buy an $8 fake "vitamin C serum" that is just a make up of dye, fragrance, and other irritating ingredients that don't even work and just redden my skin. This vitamin C is at a high enough concentration to work. Other vitamin C products don't list their strength on the bottle, so how do you even know what you're getting? I think anything that makes you look better without makeup is worth the money ! It is such a confidence booster to feel better in your own skin. 5 stars.

After a little under a month of use, I find that I really enjoy the serum so far. I'm 30 years old in NYC and this is my first try at a vitamin C serum. I have seen a definite difference in my skin. It feels smoother, firmer (plumper?) and softer. My fine lines are also less visible. For the price, I think the serum is worth. I am on a budget and the price works well for me. Also, definitely applying the product morning and night has made a huge difference. I used to skip the night routine and just wipe the make up off with wipes, but sticking to a routine makes a difference with this product. Seeing the results has a way of making you stay up to do the work! The packaging was also fun! When my package arrived, my roommate remarked that I had a secret admirer. The package was pink with a message saying "Ship to: The Gorgeous Tramia Jackson" I had to tell her that it was my skin care company lol! Not only was the package cute, but it arrived well in advance of the projected arrival date. This great service made a positive impression on me even before I tried the product. As I mentioned above this was my first experience using a "serious" serum. My only concern early on about the serum is that when I applied it, it was sticky and a bit drying on my fingers and face. I did not have trouble smoothing it on my face, but there is a sticky and drying residue/feeling after It is absorbed. I use toner before I apply it and a water based moisturizer after that combats the dry and sticky feeling. I have had past products that were extremely sticky that I have returned. I stuck with this product because the sticky factor was bearable and I wanted to give it a try (the friendly customer service helped as well!). And I am glad I did. I contacted the company with my entire message above and they immediately sent me this explanation for the "sticky/drying" feeling: "The "dryness" you are feeling is most likely the tightening effects of the ferulic acid, which acts synergistically with Vitamins C & E to increase UV protection, boost collagen, and increase cell renewal. And the slightly tacky feeling immediately after application will only be present briefly as the serum is being absorbed into your skin." Again, this was my first time using a "big girl" serum with vitamin C, ferulic acid and collagen so I didn't know any of those effects. I'm glad that this is part of the process and that the company took the time to send me an explanation. . Overall, I really enjoy this product and I will likely continue to use it and explore more of their product offerings in the future.

It's great. I've been using this bottle for three months now, so I think its about time I posted a review. My skin definitely evened out its pigmentation from acne, the pigmentation wasn't that strong to begin with, but other products didn't work like this one did. It also had some minor pitting which evened out also. I noticed that my skin was a lot smoother, and brighter, people really complimented me. One day I went completely without makeup and a random lady literally came up to me and said I had the best skin of anyone she had ever seen. My friends also commented that my skin was glowing. And I got the "oh you have perfect skin" compliment from many people. I would definitely recommend this product. I used 5 drops every morning. I didn't use it at night. I used it before my sunblock. I am 25 years old, with generally good skin (medium to dark tan). It's normal to combination. I bought it to address previous acne scarring on one corner of my face - the pigmentation and pitting. After using this I can go make up free and feel fine about it. This was my first vitamin c serum so I was very happy with the results. It arrived early, and the company has great customer service as well, they seem to really care. Also the price - when I bought it, was on sale. When I am older this is definitely something I would use on a regular basis. Also, I read somewhere, the glow goes away a few weeks after you stop using it. I'm not sure about it as I'm still not finished with the first bottle - almost though. But even still, it got rid of my pitting (mostly) so It think its a damn good product.

This product is hands down the best C Serum I have used and I've tried many! I am in my 50's with a lot of sun damage as a result of growing up surfing in southern CA. The first serum that I ever tried was the Skinceuticals C E Ferulic and I definitely noticed a difference in the overall appearance of my skin but it was cost prohibitive and I prefer natural and organic ingredients. I moved on to DaVita, which was also decent but a little stingy. I've tried Ole Hendrickson, Algenist, Perricone, Murad, Korres and more. This C Serum 22 was the first product that I've ever used that made a noticeable difference not only on the texture & clarity of my skin, but with obvious fading of brown spots. I was pretty sure that I'd found "the one" but after my 2nd bottle, my inner cheap-skate surfaced and I thought I'd try something less expensive. I ordered bottles of two other brands sold on Amazon that have the same or close to the same percentage of C and cost half the price. The old adage, you get what you pay for was definitely true in this case! An element that I enjoyed about one of the alternatives was the cheerful, Citrus fragrance. I am actually extremely sensitive to scents so I found it amusing that I was wishing the Serumtologie also had a pleasing fragrance. Smelling nice certainly doesn't guarantee results and I missed the emollience of C Serum 22. I have also since read that citrus essential oils can be irritating to people with sensitive skin so I imagine having no fragrance is by design. Last month, I bought my third bottle of C Serum 22 and decided that this is the last time I'll deviate. In fact, I'm so convinced by the efficacy of this product that I'm taking the time to write a review! There is something about this thick, somewhat milky formula that goes on like silk and absorbs quickly leaving my skin feeling well moisturized. I could probably even get away with skipping moisturizer but my impression is that the serum helps my face cream absorb better. The results speak for themselves and the ingredients are of such high quality that I've given up feeling like I have to find a better "deal". At this point, I am a monthly subscriber and feel like it's worth every penny. The outcome of daily use makes me feel like I"m getting the best "deal" I could ask for! It's a wonderful, effective, quality, natural formula that would probably be at least double the price if it had a fancy label on it.

Purchased based on an article that this is rated as one of the top alternatives to Skinceuticals CE Ferulic and on Amazon Customer Reviews. If you are debating purchasing, definitely give this a try. For best results, make sure that you have exfoliated by using a retinol or a resurfacing cleanser (example: dermalogica) so that the serum doesn't sit on top of your skin, but that it can soak in. Apply the C serum, let it soak in, apply a hydrating serum (ex. dermalogica) and then apply a moisturizer. This product absorbs very quickly and feels like it does protect against the environment. For me, I'm 46 and have good skin; no major problems that a little foundation and proper care can't take care of, but hydration and improvement is always appreciated. With this serum, after 4 week of use, twice a day I did not see noticeable results. However, this serum could just be a "treat" and not a "correct" serum. Now, with Skinceuticals, results within less than a week were visible. It was like "WOW"... even an oxidized (golden) results were noticeable. I've tried many C serums (Blue Mercury has a C serum close to C E ferulic as well). Hand down, nothing beats Skinceuticals. Even for me, Obaji didn't product results like Skinceuticals.

First impressions: *Packaging was sturdy and received early (very much appreciated). *Bottle felt warm to the touch when removed from packaging, probably due to the fact that the mail man had no AC in his vehicle and delivered it in the heat of the day in Arizona (no big deal, placed it in the refrigerator until that evening). *The blue tinted bottle/ dropper seems to be a good quality carrier (I like it) it keeps the light from exposing the ingredients, and provides easy dispensing. *The product was a hazy white color, and didn't notice a scent at all. *Easy to spread over face/neck and soaked into my skin quickly. *Really like the ingredients. *Noticed a healthy glow right after application. Next morning skin looked great! healthy/hydrated. *Skin feels smooth *After three weeks of everyday/twice a day use, face has 99% less acne. *Notice slight difference in pigmentation/dark spots on skin (slightly lighter). *No problems with makeup application.. actually, noticed that I have been using less foundation lately and skin looks great. *I will definitely keep ordering this product and I have already started recommending it to my family and friends. *One problem I did encounter for a week was that the bottle would not seal, or close all the way. It was weird because I would tighten it and right before my eyes it would open up again. This caused some leaking at the lid area. I could only speculate that this occurred because the bottle was in the refrigerator and when using it, I brought it into a hot steamy bathroom after showers (pressure build up?). After a week of this, it stopped happening. Not sure what I did to change this, except for that the bottle was less full? Update after being contacted by Vanessa from sérumtologié® C º22: I was pleasantly surprised to have received a response with a nice personal touch from Vanessa with sérumtologié® C º22. Vanessa addressed my dropper problem by sending me a new complimentary bottle with a sturdier dropper. The new bottle/dropper has not been a problem. Thank you so much Vanessa. I have also since then ordered the C serum º22/ moisturizer, PURE Whipped Chiffon Duo. I can’t wait to receive it and try it out. I’ll be updating my review after trying the moisturizer duo. Ps. I am very impressed with your customer service! I truly appreciate the "tips to maximize your results" you included in the email I received. It has been a little over 2 months since I started using Serumtologie C Serum 22 and I am very happy with the results. I am 59 years old and has taken good care of my skin through the years with products like Clinique, Lancome & Estee Lauder, but when I reached the 50's my skin started to change and the products that had worked for me so far were not helping. I started to look for new products that would help me slow down the aging process, tighten my skin, help reduced fine lines, etc. I tried a bunch of different products during the last 5+ years, with none or little results. I started going for facial treatments & the aesthetician recommended I use Vitamin C serum. I tried it and really liked it, but I found it to be expensive. I looked for an alternative and decided to try Serumtologie C Serum because of its higher Vitamin C content and reasonable price. I started using it morning and night during the 1st month and liked the results but was concerned that it would not last me long enough (the other product lasted me 3 months) and decided to use it once a day. During the 2nd month, I started to apply C Serum 22 to my face and neck only in the mornings with great results. My skin looks softer, healthier and more radiant. It has help tighten and plumped up my skin, and has soften the fine lines around my eyes, lips and neck. I find the packaging to be simple and easy to dispense. I am now almost done with this bottle and I am very pleased with the results. I will be ordering another bottle very soon.Thanks for a great product!

I am in my 40's with fair, oily, and very sensitive skin due to Rosacea. I have an extremely hard time finding skincare and cosmetics that don't irritate my skin with fragrances and such. I also have large pores. I always have a problem with the products containing irritants making my skin get inflamed from the Rosacea and making it more oily and making my large pores more prominent. I was looking for a serum or moisturizer that would hydrate my skin without making my skin more oily, something to tighten my skin and make my pores shrink (if possible), and that would absorb and not sit on my skin like grease. I'd pretty much given up on finding anything that wouldn't irritate it but then I starting researching hyaluronic acid and from all the websites and reviews I read I found Serumtologie. It has no additives like fragrance or irritants that most others add. So I tried both the Vitamin C serum 22 and their Whipped Moisturizer. It said you could expect to see results in a month or two, I saw them in 2 days!!! They both absorb so quickly its almost hard to get it on your skin and blended around. My face didn't turn bright red and feel like it was burning. My skin looks tight and the pores are barely noticeable! Its crazy! There are so many benefits from both products with high concentrations of these awesome ingredients and what I also like is that the company wants to provide high quality, high concentrations of superior ingredients that you would pay a lot more money elsewhere but sells their products at a more affordable price. I showed my Mom the results after a few days using it and she immediately went online and bought both herself.
