I had researched about different translations of the Septuagint to English and finally decided to purchase the Orthodox Study Bible. The commentary provided at the end of the page often points out how the passage relates to Christ and his Church. Most of these commentary is from the early Church fathers. The commentary in the Old Testament enhances our understanding on how it relates to Christ. Since, the Bible was translated from the Septuagint, there is a lot of clarity to several verses when comparing it to translations based on the Hebrew Masoretic text.I would highly encourage you to purchase this version of the Bible. Best bible you can buy in my opinion, it consists of all the books of the Bible that have been removed over time but exist in our faith as Orthodox Christians, it also consists of lectionary and prayers also you get interpretations and links of verses at the end of a chapter given by early church fathers

It's one of the only complete Bibles (OT & NT) with the Old Testament (OT) using the Septuagint (LXX) as its base

Paper is very tin

This is one of the most authentic version of the Bible. It has short explanations on key verses at the bottom of the page which reveals the mystery and speaks to your inner man. It includes books like 'Wisdom of Sirach' which proclaims that happiness is possible only through faith and obedience to the one true God. It has prayer for the newly wed in the Book of Tobit. It has study articles on a number of topics like Ancestral sin, Holy Baptism, Chrismation, Deification, Types of Mary in the OT, ...This is truly the face of the ancient church to the modern world.If you believe that Bible is the revelation of God to man, this is the book to be read, understood and lived.
