Washing them with water will destroy the inner cardboard pieces. You can hand wash them, or put them in the cold, gentle cycle in your washing machine. Just lay flat to dry (we do not recommend drying them in a machine). And the cloth is treated with a water-resistant coating. Second, we designed our bags to look like beautiful, timeless luggage at a very affordable price point.
