I am so sad that they don’t make this anymore. It was fast and easy to make with shrimp. Why it not available anymore? Must be toxic haha. But it was the bomb!!!

If you want make a quick and tasty Chinese-style meal, these packets are great. We use one packet to make 2 complete adult meals. Stir fry a half pound of raw sliced chicken and half a pound of mixed vegetables until almost done (5 to 10 minutes, depending on how hot your pan is). Stir in the sauce packet and simmer for another minute. Pour over a couple of bowls of rice (half a cup of cooked rice per person). That's it. Two complete meals. Protein, veggies, and carbs all in one dish.Flavor of this sauce is very good. There is a subtle black pepper flavor, very different from hot chili sauce. Definitely not the overly sweet stuff you get from cheap Chinese-American restaurants.This is the first Lee Kum Kee sauce packet that I have tried and it tastes great when used with fresh chicken and fresh veggies. If you're lazy, supermarkets sell cheap bags of frozen mixed vegetables that will work fine (don't bother defrosting, just throw the frozen veggies in the pan when the chicken is mostly done). Way better than Chinese takeout that is usually too oily and too soggy. Now I'll have to try some of the other Lee Kum Kee flavors.Yes, you can make better quality Chinese food by using fresh herbs and spices, but most people don't have that much time for shopping and cooking every day.

This is delicious for your shrimp. You can't get any easier than this. Just saute your shrimp add sauce and nothing else to do. Now I like to add sliced onion and green pepper. You can add a chopped red chili if you like hot. I just serve with rice and dinner is ready. Now there is one thing when you open your package of sauce you will think, this isn't enough, but that will fool you. There is more than enough for a pound and a.half with onion and green pepper. Don't add water to sauce. The only thing I do is add about a teaspoon to the package just to get every drop of sauce out. You will love this as much as I do. Great product.

My whole family loves black pepper chicken at Chinese restaurants and it was with that in mind that I ordered this sauce - trying to capture the restaurant flavor at home. Unfortunately it is not even close. There is black pepper in this sauce, but the flavor doesn't taste anything like the black pepper chicken sauce in the various restaurants we've been at. I don't mind the taste, but my wife and kids don't like it at all. If you are going for the restaurant flavor, this isn't it. If you simply want a new sauce for chicken, this is an ok one.

The sauce is delicious. I find the packets small. I followed the recipe on packet but not enough sauce so had to use 2 thus lowing it's value. Even so I still recommen.

Terrific flavor that stands right up to rice, meat and vegetables.

It's easy to use too.I cut up the chicken breast into small bite size pieces. But before I do, I begin cooking the great rice I bought (see my review on how to cook it fast.)Then place some olive oil and the sauce in my iron skillet and add the cut up chicken. I turn the gas burner on all the way and heat the skillet until the contents sizzle.I turn it down very low and stir the chicken and the sauce for a couple of minutes. And it's ready to place the chicken and extra sauce on the bed of rice as soon as the rice is cooked.

This sauce is delicious. Be careful when ordering this product from Amazon, though. I've ordered this twice "pack of 12", and each time only a single sachet was delivered. The first time, it was reshipped, and I was promised it'd be shipped as a pack of 12, and again the 2nd time it also came as a single sachet.Buy this... just not from this listing.
