Fujimi 1/350 Imperial Japanese Navy Seaman Figure Set (350 figures)

Very precise in detail for parts you can barely see with the naked eye. These sailors give the full scale effect for 1/350 models, showing the massive size of battleships and other large craft relative to tiny people. I have painted a few rows of them, on the sprue, using a 2.5 lens and LED lighting, and what a struggle for me - I have little talent in this regard. But, they look great from a distance, and again, they are great to show the hugeness of the vessels upon which they float. I went with summer whites, to stand out on the 1/350 Yamato kit, otherwise, it seems to me that the figures get lost in the visual. Not sure that I will finish painting the whole set, as it takes patience and skill beyond me. 5 stars for clean figures, and level of detail, I got exactly what I ordered - 1/2cm sailors.

Fujimi is a somewhat underappreciated model company. They used to be better known here in the US.That said, this is somewhat unusual for them. Unlike the current crop of photoetched brass figures from other manufacturers, these are fully 3-dimensional. They represent IJN sailors in their service dress uniforms, their blues and their whites. If you don't have some kind of hands-free magnifier, you'll need to get one. Each figure is roughly comparable to a small grain of rice. You'll probably want to stick to painting them just enough detail to suggest their uniforms and features--unless, of course, you *want* to paint a face on 350+ small grains of rice. They're good for what they are, and I recommend them.

I was in the market for some 3d men for a 1/350 ship model as I did not like the look of the PE ones that are available. I am by no means a fine artist and unable to paint these guys according to the instructions. I am using them on a USN ship. Unless you use a magnifying glass you can not tell that they have an Oriental look to the face. Just placing a few here and there on a 1/350 scale ship brings it to life. If you get the PE ones, use them on the bridge behind the windows where it does not matter if they have a 3d appearance. These fit my need perfectly! Just a little cleanup required and some tiny brushes or use toothpicks like I did....

Exactly what I needed. The figures are about 8cm in height. You can't really tell what navy they are from at that size so I am using mine for the Kreigsmarine ships. Painting is pretty fast but you may need a magnifier unless your eyesight is pretty good.

I did not like this because i thought i could see the sea men without using a glass!!

Auf der Suche nach einer Alternative zu Fotoätzteilen fand ich dieses Figuren-SetVersand aus Japan und unbemalt hat mich erst nicht so überzeugt, habe abertrotzdem zugeschlagen. Zu meiner Überraschung war das nach zehn Tagen schonda und ich muss sagen, große Klasse. Die Figuren sind zwar winzig aber plastisch.350 kleine Marinesoldaten. Das bemalen war kein Problem, hab ich noch im Spritzlinggemacht. Muss bei der Größe auch nicht zu genau ausfallen. Heraustrennen gingohne die Figuren zu beschädigen. Sind gut im Spritzling angesetzt und ist genug Platz.Werde mir noch mehr davon bestellen und gebe natürlich eine volle Kaufempfehlung.Meine Schiffe haben jetzt eine Besatzung.

大和の沖縄特攻作戦(菊水一号作戦)を再現したくて購入。大和はタミヤの新金型大和1/350。「男たちの大和」を観ると、戦闘服の水兵ばかりでしたので、人形がランナーに付いたまま一気にXFー49 カーキ(タミヤカラー)を塗り、十分に乾いた後、XFー15 フラットフレッシュ(タミヤカラー)で顔面を彩色し、ヘルメットはダークグリーンなんだけど僕はTC07(Mr.color)を流用しました。(表情の描き込みはできませんでした)人形のサイズは、丁度5ミリ。これは、現実の身長175センチに相当します。当時の人の身長は165センチ程度でしたから、一寸高めですね。ポーズは敬礼・前進・直立・士官直立の4ポーズ。数量はランナー1枚に、敬礼20・前進20・直立28・士官直立2です。このランナーが5枚入って計350個です。材質は、金属のエッチングではなく普通のプラスチックです。さぁ、みんなで頑張ろう!!

Se trata de un juego de figuras a 1/350 de oficiales y marinos japoneses en uniformes de verano e invierno y en pose de saludo. Fujimi tiene un segundo juego de figuras donde se las ve en acción, lo ideal hubiera sido combinar ambas pero...en fin, un buen producto, yo creo que mejor que las figuras de Eduard a la misma escala en fotograbado, que son muy planas.

塗装指定が士官だと帽子のツバまで塗り分けるよう指定があります。とても無理です。大雑把に服と肌色を塗り分けるのがせいぜいかと。1/350キットのアクセント用に購入しましたが、これを塗り終わる頃には職人芸が身に付いていそうです。
