This is a great product for those who want something better than gel. This is a pudding type consistency, and it does harden, but not like a rock (pending on how much you use). A little goes a long way and I have thick hair. The smell is outstanding. And it does not leave flakes. It almost feels like a moisturizer.

I absolutely love using this product and have been for a couple years now. It is described as a leave in conditioner but creates a nice hold when styling. It's also not greasy or oily which is great. It also helps that it smells amazing and I have gotten compliments. If you need to restyle after it has dried, simply went your hair where you need to style and proceed to styling.

Love the product, many different beard, oils, and products. This seems to be the only one that has been able to make my dry scraggly beard somewhat soft and it smells amazing no doubt about that just work on the shipping. Mine was delivered with goo all over the place and the pump broken once that can be put under control easily a five star review.

I’ve spent hundreds, if not thousands the last 2 years on beard products. I’ve tried several balms, oils, conditioners, “softeners”, and washes; None of them seemed to deliver the sensation I craved when ordering the product.I tried Gibbs beard and hair conditioner. It made my beard so soft, my wife was stunned when she felt it! She enthusiastically said,”Wow!” After the unexpected sensation and stated it felt like actual hair; Instead of the rough beard she was accustomed to feeling. It smells so good she actually smells it now and ask me to condition my beard when she can’t smell it lol.I ordered this “pudding” after my experience with the conditioner and again am blown away by the immediate results. Gibbs absolutely and immediately distinguished themselves amongst the countless brands I’ve tried and has earned my sincere commitment to their products. I was introduced to this product at a large sport-themed hair cutting business. The smell is fresh, the hold is good, not too strong, not too weak, not greasy, not wet. It is great for everyday hair styling use without the fuss or mess. While I suppose this hair pudding was designed mainly for beards, I can vouch that it works great for hair and people have commented how good it smells. I just buy this big jar with pump for home, and then put some in a small jar to take with me on travel.

I like the product and previously bought the small container of it. It smells great and holds well. I thought I might as well upgrade to the larger pump container as it sounded more convenient, but that was a mistake. The pump came in pieces and I had to clean it off (wasting some product) and click back together. It worked for a month or two, then broke apart again. I cleaned it off (wasting more product again) and we'll see how long it will last now. I recommend the product, but do not buy the larger pump container.

Good product for men with thick beards and hair! Tames the hair and keeps it in place.

This product was received horrible. The first time it was exploded all in the package and the second time it was exploded again and the pump part was broken off of it. Both times the hair product was all over the place inside the package unopened now I have to go and try to find a place locally to buy it after waited a few days for it to be shipped out to me with a big disappointment as you can see in the picture that was enclosed in this review very very poor
