Worked great on my golf hat
My black golf hat had huge areas that were turning brown. I believe this was due to sweat and lots of sun. It took two coats that I brushed on using paint brush, but the result was perfection. My hat is jet black again.

Exactly what I needed
I got this because we have a plant outdoors and the leaves faded to this obnoxious blue color from the sun. While I can't speak to how it will last, it worked perfectly for this specific situation. We mixed brown and green together to get a more natural looking color and it definitely saved this $150 tree

Works for sun-faded stroller
Very satisfied with how this product refreshed our sun-faded stroller. I used a foam brush and wet the water-resistant fabric surface first, which made the dye easier to spread and less saturated in color (more of a grey). I think I did about three coats on the most faded parts, which took half a jar. First pic shows the faded fabric, second shows end product.

Work fast to avoid streaks
This is what 2.25 oz of 819 bright green and approx. 0.25 oz of black with 3mLs of jacquard airfix looks like on a mustard yellow nylon bag. I used a sponge brush to swipe it on. You can clearly see where the brush strokes were. In a couple places I was able to put a second coat and they look better so I'm going to add a second and possibly 3rd coat to even it out. Beautiful color though!

Worked on a polyester/spandex blend
I wanted to paint a section of some stretchy poly/spandex leggings but I was reluctant to heat-set the Dye-na-flow color for fear of damaging the spandex. So I stretched the leggings over a section of plexiglass and added clips to the edges in order to secure the stretched spandex in place. I then used a stiff bristled artist brush (similar to what one would use for stenciling) and dipped into the fabric paint sparingly, spreading it across the tightly stretched fabric. The stiff bristles allowed me to add paint without totally saturating the fabric with too much paint. Anyway, once I finished painting the fabric, I left it stretched on the plexiglass and then set the plexi on the floor, leaning it up against the wall to make the setup as vertical as I could. I then got my little heater which has a blower, and set the heater in front of the stretched spandex about 12 inches away. I didn't want to overheat the spandex, and I thought the heater would be hot, yet gentler than an iron would be for heat setting the fabric paint. It worked like a charm. Not only did the heater dry the paint very quickly, it set the paint beautifully. I ran the leggings through the washing machine and there was zero loss of color. I am very pleased with this product. By the way, I considered using the Jacquard AirFix to fix the paint, but it was too expensive and hard to obtain quickly, hence the use of the relatively gentle heat of the heater to set the paint.

Slow build up of color, works well for airbrushing
Bought this to use in an airbrush to create a curved fade on the train of a dress. Worked really well, the dye is already really thin so it flows easily without any extra steps for airbrushing. The effect of a single pass was very subtle, so I had to take some time to get a noticeable effect, but I liked that since it was also very forgiving. Really easy to get even coverage over a large area. It does make the fabric feel rougher and stiffer, which might limit some of its uses, but I think I'll still make this my go-to for projects where the texture won't matter as much.

Good color but clumpy
This had good color and was what I was looking for. The major problem I had was that I could not get the clumps out of it. I shook the snot out of the paint and couldnβt for the life of me get a consistent homogenized product or application. I think it may have gotten really hot at some point maybe?

Good color, buy multiple
Overall good product. I am dying just the sleeves and hood of a sweatshirt and the color is beautiful and vibrant. The dye doesnt spread well on polyester so im having to use 4 bottles just for this project (not even dying a whole male large sweatshirt)

Great product
Very impressed. I've used this on some aging blue suede Merrells, and the colour is great. Very easy to apply with a paint brush. It has competely rejuvenated them. The dye needs to be fixed with a sealer or hairdryer, but that's no real problem. Great product

Effective dye for difficult applications...
Good product that we used to dye a jacket that could not be washed but beware that it does affect the softness of the material.. We used the jacquard airfix to set the dye, so not sure if this had an adverse affect on the material feel. Also, I don't want to wash the jacket as this could risk ruining it so that may have impacted the final result of the feel of the fabric...The final dyed product was vibrant in colour and still very usable, hoping it will soften over time...
