Good quality
I purchased these to drill holes in my ceramic and terracotta pots that didn’t have drainage wholes. Worked wonderfully. Saw a video online that had had some great tips on how to properly use.

Great Quality, Low Price
I purchased these drill bits after having good experiences with other Drillax bits, and I have not been disappointed in the least! I have used these bits to drill many holes for various porcelain tile projects (toilet mounting flange, shower door, shower panel glass, etc.) and have been very satisfied with their performance. With proper care and correct use, I have no doubt that these bits will last for a long time.A couple of pointers for the first-time user:1. When drilling, dip the diamond tip of the bit in water and drip some water on the surface that you are drilling as well. If/when the drilling begins to produce dry fragments (usually within 3-4 seconds of high-RPM drilling of glazed porcelain tile), stop drilling and wet the tip of the bit again, then drip some more water on the drilled surface once more. Repeat this process until the hole is finished. Keeping the diamond tip and the material surface wet while drilling will prolong the life of the bit significantly!2. Keep a small, cylindrical object handy so that you can remove the drilled "cores" from the inside of the bit. When drilling through porcelain tile, you will need to clean the bit out after each hole is drilled or risk the pieces of tile jamming inside of the bit and causing problems with the drilling of subsequent holes. I used a few cheap Allen wrenches for this purpose and was able to clean the bits out fairly easily after each use.

Great tool for limited use.
I've only used the 1/2 in cutter to drill a hole in the bottom of a large glazed ceramic flower pot (about a quarter inch thick). It worked very well for this application, leaving a clean hole and no sign of breaking the pot. I noticed when I finished that the abrasive edge of the tool was still useful, but not nearly so gritty as when fresh out of the package. I would expect from this that it has a limited life, and would not be appropriate for professional, everyday use. You can probably get several cuts from each tool, but because it has a bonded diamond(?) cutting edge, it cannot be sharpened.

BUY THESE THEY ARE MORE THAN WORTH IT, YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT
THESE ARE GREAT!I cannot speak highly enough about these. Great price and great quality. I have a need to drill through quite a lot of glass containers for my business and up until I got these it has been a chore. These cut through the glass like butter. I'm talking 1-2 minutes for a 1/4" thick glass piece. Before this I had the rotozip diamond bit since it was the only one I could find in stores and I thought I was destined to drill holes for 20+ minutes each forever. One day I got really sick of it and did some quick research and found these highly rates bad boys and I'm never going back.I only received them today but so far I have drilled 31 pieces with the same drill bit and even if that's all I get out of it, it's still a steal. Especially considering that the rotozip bit was $35 for just the one and these are ~$15 for 5.Seriously do your self a favor and get these. Also my setup is a drill press and I do all my drilling on water (obviously) but there are pictures included in case you need some help on that. I just have a cheapo 8" drill press from menards and these work great. My speed is set at 1530 rpm and I have had no problems with that yet. Definitely get these. I am going to return the rotozip bit tomorrow. So glad I found these.I've included photos of my setup and the bit I used for 31 cuts so you can see exactly what I'm working with and that These are the real f****** deal

Got the job done.
Did what they said they'd do. I drilled clean holes in clay pots. I don't know how long they'll last, but they were worth every penny so far!

OK for the price
I used one of the drill bits to drill a 5/8" hole through a fairly soft stone counter top. It worked OK, but was pretty worn when I was finished. The stone was soft compared to a granite or marble. The counter top I drilled was a 3 cm thickness. Luckily the stone was soft enough that it broke when I was partially through it. The portion that broke was the core that was being drilled out, so that was no problem and was a benefit. This allowed me to remove part of the stone and drill the rest. The reason this is good is because the drill bit is not deep enough to allow the full 3 cm thickness to be drilled without filling the inside of the drill bit.
