Good quality
It comes with a pair of spare bulbs, and the build quality looks good. It's a bit on the big side, and the tip could have been tapered some more.

Best in Value, Flexibility and Cost
This tool has exceeded all of my expectations. However, in the next paragraph, I would like to point out one negative experience to which turned out to become a positive experience. The inside cavity of the handle gives the spring/bulb assembly too much wiggle room in order to manually line up the spring/bulb connection to the center of the pointer/contact point. This step can be both frustrating and time consuming.Solution: Before attempting to insert the bulb/spring assembly. Drop (5) copper BB's down into the handle's cavity. The BB's will flow around the contact cylinder such as ball bearings do on a bike wheel. Since the BB's will be slightly higher in height to the contact. When the bulb hits the BB's they will slightly spread but will also guide the bulb to the center of the contact point and the connection will not move.UPDATE: BB's have proved not to be the best solution. I made a test on several car batteries with bb's in the tester. The tester felt warm in my hand so I pulled out the spring. I barely touched it and it was so hot I had to throw it down. The bb's tend to quickly retain a high degree heat during use as current flows through the tester. Not worth the risk. However, you might be interested in a much better solution as shown here in these photos. You'll see that I removed a plastic cap off of a bible highlighter. Next I cut off the open end of the cap which measures exactly 1/2 inch. Drop it down the handle and you'll have perfect alignment every time. With or without modifications this is still a great tester.

Great quality
I've owned a bunch of this style test light, and for the price I'm very surprised at how good they are. Definitely better quality than I expected.

Good product, good value
This is a well constructed, simple to use tester. There have been several comments that the light bulb at the end of a flexible spring sometimes moves off its contact plate at the back end of the probe. It does, but easily put back on without disassembly.FOR THE MANUFACTURER: There is such an easy fix for this. Indent (make concave) the back plate of the probe so the pointed base of the bulb figs snugly into it. (Back plate of the probe could be of a slightly larger diameter as well.)
