Good Japanese Curry
My fiance is obsessed with Japanese curry so I got this to make it for him on his birthday. He liked it! So that means the flavor must be accurate. Easy to work with. But if I made it again, I wouldn't use the whole thing for 1 dish (recipe I had instructed too, but the item is in squares so I probably would have just used half of them or maybe like 60% and left the rest of later - the whole thing at once was a bit too thick, but that's not the product's fault).

Love this stuff!
I have purchased this product several times. So far, I have used it with beef, chicken, and seafood. It makes a delightful mild curry and works well with a variety of meats and vegetables.

Save a trip to Hawaii for the taste of L&L Barbecue's tonkatsu curry. So good!
We really became addicted to L&L's curry while on trips to the big island. I tried various recipes to recreate it exactly. Then I remembered the curry at a Japanese family's house and tried this. PERFECT! Make according to package instructions. Cook any veggies you want to include separately then add them to the curry when both are done. I boil cut up potatoes and onion for 15-20 minutes, depending on chunk size, drain the veggies, then add them to the curry. Serve with a big scoop of mac salad and two scoops of warm rice.To reproduce L&L macaroni salad, overcook 1/2 lb ditalini pasta by 5 minutes (15 mins total) so they're soft and plump, drain but don't rinse and put in a mixing bowl. Elbow macaroni will do if you don't have ditalini, but it won't be a true copy in texture and taste. Next, thoroughly mix in 1/2 cup sweet relish with the juice and let sit for a minute. In another bowl or measuring cup, mix together 1/2 cup mayo and 1/2 cup whole milk, then mix this into the pasta. Add finely shredded carrot, minced onions and celery to taste. Refrigerate until cold throughout, about 3 hours.

Great just pricey
Very delicious but definitely pricier than the stores. I bought here because my local stores were out of stock.

Favorite Japanese curry bricks
Easy to use and has a little spicy kick. Add a bit of black pepper to heighten it

Love the taste
I learned that I was using too much at first but now I’ve got it down and I love the flavor. Making this makes me feel happy memories of my time in Nepal where I ate curry. Sometimes I add coconut cream or coconut milk and sometimes I don’t. Great with chicken, beef, and tofu.

The Best Japanese Curry To GO To
I use this with all sorts of different style cooking and meats and by far the best and easiest to use. You can add flavor with other spices and it brings out the taste. I made it for dinner with carrots, potatoes, my secret ingredient and little onions..etc. and it was so delicious!! Recommend this if you love Curry!!
