My neighbor builds birdhouses and lawn signs. He often makes his own stencils with a 3M masking tape they no longer produce. I searched all over the internet and had a good suspicion this tape could be placed over lettering or a design, traced, and cut with an exacto-knife. It is even better than what he has used for years! It is easy to see through and peels off the paper he traces from without a problem. He finds it then secures perfectly to the wood he is painting and when removed leaves perfect edges. Worth every penny for this tape!

I prefer this tape over tamiya tape

I was a little skeptical at first as I am with any new tool I implement into my art process whether I am drawing, painting, etc. normally I use the blue painters tape and every time it would pull up part of my drawing surface or allow paint to get under the tape around the border. So far the tesa tape hasn’t let me down. With that said…I can’t use it as freely as I would normally since it’s $15.80 a pop. So it serves as “the special tape” and the other cheaper brands I use more loosely on other projects where needed. That really is my only gripe, the price. But hey, it’s no secret that just about every thing needed to create art is expensive.

Tesa è sinonimo di qualità per quel che riguarda scotch e nastri. Questo tipo "giallo" è il mio preferito. Facile da strappare ma resistentissimo, attacca subito e per molti mesi con la possibilità di riposizionarlo più volte. Un aiuto enorme per i lavori di verniciatura di precisione. Questa mia recensione è assolutamente autentica, rispecchia, nel bene o nel male, il mio personale giudizio sul prodotto e la mia esperienza d'uso con lo stesso. Il prodotto in oggetto è stato da me personalmente acquistato pagando l'intero importo, non sono stati utilizzati buoni o sconti e non ho ricevuto alcuno demo o omaggio dal produttore.

I'd not heard of this brand before but bought it when I saw it being used by an artist I follow on YouTube. Every other masking tape I have used has let me down, but this stuff is great. Be careful though, they do a variety of different grades. The Professional Precision Mask is the best (and the most expensive).

Es muy cara para el resultado que da. Se levanta la pintura o la cera, si es un mueble. Malísima. Hay mejores por menos precio.

Le meilleur scotch que je connaisse pour la peinture. Le masquage est impeccable, aucune peinture ne passe en dessous. Contrairement au ruban bleu 3M, la démarcation est bien nette. Il tient bien mais reste facile à enlever car il est imperméable. Il a la bonne largeur pour protéger du coup de rouleau qui a été trop loin.

We've used this tape to cover the carpet while painting the skirting boards and its done a great job. No paint seeped through and the tape isnt so sticky that it marks/ruins the carpet after being put down. We had the tape on the carpet for a few days and it came up without issue or damaging anything. I would definitely recommend this tape.
