Product information is wrong. This sling is for a child's length arm and strap is so short as it has to be shorten in order for velco areas to attach. This was not made for an average adult. Bought a different one where elbow to arm was long enough for an adult arm and the strap wasnt pulling tight around your neck. Huge disappointment! Be aware of inaccurate product details.... It is cheap and does its job for me after shoulder surgery. I am using it just in the shower. I am 5'2" and my arm barely fits the length of the sling, so I don't think this would be a good purchase for taller people with longer arms - this will end at your mid-forearm, not near your wrist area.

I like the idea of this mesh sling, especially for use in shower. However the way the velcro aligns on it made my arm hang so far down there really is no support. I'm going to have to add more of the piece that locks it. I kind of wonder if it was put together wrong. I'm 5'2" and based on the placing on the velcro just not helpful.

Top is the "Large" sling from Amazon, the bottom is the large I was given after my shoulder surgery. While the quality seams to be good, the sizing is so far off its a wonder if only a small child could use it.

I used it after shoulder surgery but I used it for every day use not for the shower because the other slings I have were too hot.. this worked perfectly. So much cooler than my other ones..

Bought this sling for my husband to easily shower while still giving his arm and shoulder some support after surgery. However there's no way this sling can actually fit a normal sized adult male. The support strap was very short and we ended up having to use tape to hold it in place so that he could still get some support while showering. We thought this would be a good idea, however it is a lot smaller than described.

This sling has helped so much. I have a colles fracture. It hurts to hold my arm up. Showering was a painful nightmare. I wrap my cast and then place it in the sling. No more having to find ways to hold my arm up. No more extra pain. Would definitely recommend this product if you are using a sling for any arm issues.
