wow, someone turned up the heat
I really enjoyed being able to disappear into a completely new world. So well written that I found myself wanting to sign up for the Interstellar Brides program just to go thru the testing! I thought this would just be a hot read, (and it was), but I also enjoyed the story plot that had me finishing the book in one setting, when I should have been sleeping, just to find out what happens to my new favorite aliens.

Warriors and a Scientist
I absolutely loved this book. The story fulfilled my fantasies. It was so well written and unlike so many books, it was well edited. The adventure part was so exciting, and the sex was litterly out of this world. The Prillian warriors were just what I would have wanted for my mates, perfect.Of course, this is a book that would appeal to any woman who likes to feel submissive in the bedroom. For mature audience only!

Wonderful Sci-Fi romance. Perfect for the holidays, or anytime. Love, romance, another Earth Princess, treachery HEA!!!
First let me reface my review with the fact that I have on my Kindle 14 of her books and one anthology with a story by Grace Goodwin. Up until this year I seldom did any reviews, but I read a item by an author stating how they rely on reviews to get readership; and therefore, an income to continue writing stories. So, this year, especially the second half of the year, I have reviewed nearly every book that I have read (150+). Grace, I apologize for my ignorance of what these reviews mean to you... and THANK YOU for trusting me with an ARC (I already had that book, too..It's book #1)As with all ARCs, the choice to provide a review and what to place in the review is solely at the reader's discretion. The opinions given here are ALL MINE. I ADORE HER BOOKS... I wouldn't have 15 of them if I didn't. Now, on to my review.Rachel Pierce is at the Interstellar Brides Program Processing Center experiencing another bride's mating encounter. Hmmmm sizzling and erotic. Rachel gets so involved that she feels like she is the bride and has a fantastic orgasm, screaming out her pleasure. Warden Egara had to shout several times to get Rachel to stop screaming her pleasure. She wakes up still at the Processing Center, still wearing a gray testing gown. She is grateful that it is not one of the ugly orange prison pants. Warden Egara informs Rachel that a match has been made and it is one that is unusually compatible at 99% with a Prillon warrior. She lets Rachel know that she once had two Prillon warrior mates, but they were killed, so instead of picking out a new set of mates, she loved her so much that she returned to Earth, instead.Rachel lets Warden Egara know that she does not want to be an interstellar bride, she wants to appeal her 25 year conviction for supposedly having falsified data resulting in the deaths of more than 400 ill people. Her attorney will file an appeal, but in the meantime he signed her up for the bride's program. She tell the warden that evidence was planted on her and that an appeal should exonerate her. Unfortunately, she is in a maximum security prison filled with the worst of the worst. Most are there with life sentences. Currently she is in solitary confinement. But in three days she will be placed in the general population and her attorney already knows that a hit has been placed to kill her. For the prisoners, one one murder, will not increase their sentence and they received something to do the job. Rachel was able to slip a flash drive with evidence that should exonerate her, but by hen she would be dead.Warden Egara tells her that she is very lucky. She was matched with the Governor of Base 3, Prillon Colony and his second, a Captain. Rachel is upset. She didn't want even one alien let alone two! Egara let her know that all the data from her testing was recorded and filed in her record. If you choose to be a bride, all charges will be dropped. She retires to her isolation cell and realizes that even if she is acquitted, no lab will hire her. What to do? She's innocent and wants to see the culprits responsible for those deaths arrested. Will she live long enough to see herself vindicated?Warden Egara contacts the Governor of the Prillon colony and explains their mate's dire circumstances. Egara lets them know that she believes that Rachel is innocent, but it will be too late."Your going to have to come to Earth and break her out of prison. Maxim, she is your mate! How will we know her, they ask Egara. You just will." They do, and even Rachel feels a strange affinity towards them as they look into her cell. When they break into her cell and hold on to her and say""TRANSPORT", all Rachel can think of is Star Trek. She and her mates are transported to the Interstellar Brides Center. Rachel believes her life was forfeit and attaches a black thin collar on her neck. Suddenly, she can feel their emotions and they hers. They place her in a pool of bright blue water that is warm and soothing. She soon blacks out and awakens on the Prillon Colony. This story has a creepy physician, a traitor, many jealous unmatched warriors. Lots of sexy adventures for the three of them. At the end, we do get our HEA! 5 stars FROM ME! (I would not have purchased the 15 books by Grace Goodwin if I did not think her an Exceptional writer. Now, I must reread the rest of the 14 books and write reviews on them too. ONLY FAIR, yes?

New beginnings for the Colony
I’ve read a few of these Interstellar Bride books, and honestly it’s really hit or miss for me. Sometimes I like them sometimes I don’t. Think one was probably a 3-3.5 star read for me, but I round up. So this was book one of I’m assuming a spin off. To be honest I haven’t read enough of these to know the plot that seems to wind throughout the series. But from what I gathered, this spin off is about cyborgs, or rather mostly alien cyborgs. And of course them getting brides.Things I liked:I liked the whole concept of being outcasts, and them trying to build a home of their own. It’s actually really sad to see how these soldiers families all turned their backs on them because they were captured by the enemy and turned into cyborgs. So of course everyone on the colony is kind of angry/sad/depressed. I like that there is an emotional component to the story. I liked that this didn’t come across as being forced, I mean yes, Rachel picked this because she didn’t have any other good option, but at the same time they guys didn’t back her into a corner like they do in a lot of these types of books. I liked that the guys immediately went along with what she felt, respecting her wishes. I also in general just really liked Rachel, I felt like she was more developed as a character than the others. She’s also a strong person with morals who is both tenacious and smart.Things I didn’t like:I wish they guys had a little bit more development, I mean I got their backstory in a few paragraphs, and they you find out a tad more about their families late in the book, but both of those things are explained very quickly. You don’t get to know the guys nearly as well as you do Rachel, and I think if you did you would pull more for them all. I didn’t love how quick Rachel jumped in, I mean she was open to the idea, but I figured she would have taken more time to get used to them and the massive change but she didn’t. Also the book is a tad quicker read than I normally like, but other than that those are my only complaints.

Interstellar brides and infected cyborgs
Rejected, infected and scarred cyborgs are allowed into the inter stellar bride programme and hopefully this would ease their loneliness and loss of pride. This is the story of Maxim and Dustin, matched with Rachel on Earth. However Rachel does not want to have anything to do with it as she is fighting to clear her name.It was a pleasant enough read, but I do find that the author 'humanises' the aliens with their vocabulary and actions. This irritates me when reading.

Intergalactic Love
I love Grace Goodwin's books on the intergalactic brides and this new book did not disappoint.Rachel, the wrongly accused biochemist, was matched to the Prillion rejected cyborgs on the Colony and as in all the brides, she needed more than looks to save her men. She would need all her skills as a scientist and her determination to protect and repair her insecure heroes, to save her mate Maxim from death and live happily ever after with their second, Ryston.Ms Goodwin's writing makes you really care about the characters in her stories and they seem so alive and real. I desperately wanted everything to work out for these rejected veterans and Rachel, who could see past their outward imperfections and help to mend their troubled souls.Loving the Colony matches, more please!!! Can't wait for the next book.

Excellent read...
At last, a really good sci-fi novel! Great writing with attention to detail. The sub-plots are cleverly interwoven with main plot line as the author keeps the reader constantly updated and well informed. The characterisation(s) are well thought out and fully developed and contribute to the story line. I was thoroughly engrossed by an impressive book. Highly recommended 5*+ Congratulations to the author.

Oh wow...A fantastic tale of a strong and sassy female jailed as a cover up fighting for justice. Being matched as a bride was just in case...but ended up being the best thing for her and them. Two alpha males with their own scars that worship her and a new life...with a wonderful HEA. A series that you will want more of...guaranteed!
