Tie Down 13806 Roof Zone Shingle Shaper Shingle Cutter, Aluminum

Works really well. You think, oh I will just use a knife to cut the shingle. This device makes it so quick. One person measures, another cuts. Saved so much time. Reduced the chance of cutting your hand with a knife and uneven cuts.

I actually bought this to cut strip of alum from stock coil. It works well once you get the hang of the pressure needed on the blade to cut without sliding off the coil.

Came as it was dated. Everything was there. I use it more and provide a better review. First roof had mix feeling as it didn’t cut clean every time. I would have to cut from different sides sometime to get a clean cut. However it did state that in the manual. Overall it is as stated and does what it’s meant to do.

Saves a lot of time the utility knife. Cuts fast and easy.

My husband ordered his and got delivered today we don’t understand why he got delivered twice when it was an only one time purchase. Not sure if we’re the only ones with problem idk 🤷🏼‍♀️

Shingle shaper does it’s job but doesn’t cut smooth. Blade could be sharper for cleaner cuts. Very rough finish after cutting.

We had a shingle cutter before that had a nice sharp blade and cut shingles very well.This shingle cutter has no sharp edges, the blade is square with no cutting edge. It was missing screws that held it together.We used it for a roof on our home we are building using architectural shingles and it just ripped the shingles. It may work ok for a plain three tab shingle, but I would still hesitate to say it would work in that application also.The warmer it got outside the worse it ripped the shingles. We are very disappointed in this product. It is definitely not worth the money spent on it. We would have sent it back, but it was gummed up after trying to use it and we didn't feel right trying to return it. So I am giving you this caution about buying this product to save you the money, time and aggravation in purchasing it.
