I learned about kvass (believe it or not) by seeing it on a Russian scifi TV show called "Chernobyl: Exclusion Zone" (title in Russian, «Чернобыль: Зона Отчуждения» on channel тнт). I read about it online and searched Amazon out of curiosity, finding a few varieties. The type, positive reviews, and the fact that these are in cans are why I chose this. This is vaguely reminiscent of malta drinks, except not nearly as strong, and a great rye taste. I like this much better, it's like a rye bread champagne - delicious flavor. I only wish it was less expensive. Over $90 a month if I have one every day! Regardless, I recommend definitely trying this if even you're just curious. Also, the little mint chocolate candies they send along with the order for free are great.

Great original taste

Tried this "blind" after first exposure to a Kvass product at a local restaurant. Flavor more fruity than wheat-y, but still refreshing & good.

They arrived here very quickly, and still tasted great like I remember. Some of the cans were dented, but it didn't affect the quality in any way.

Came with everything listed. The kvass tasted weird but it was as described, and was very similar to the stuff I make at my own house.

Way too expensive! Price for 2L bottle in any Russian store is about $3.50

They are ok, kind of watery, not worth $3 a can Imo.

Really very good. Very refreshing. A unique flavor.
