Complete garbage
Carburetor was complete junk. Every part of it is cheap down to the kinked hoses they send with it . Fuel input is too small for 1/4 “ fuel line . Wouldn’t idle. Throttle would stick . Do not buy

Excellent product!
Excellent carburetor for the price. exact fit and style on my 1990 Yamaha Moto 4.And yes I had to adjust the idle a little bit but that's the name of the game if you're going to be working on your own stuff.

Almost perfect replacement for the originally and runs beautifully
I replaced the carb on my 1986 YFM225 Moto 4 with this one. This was a perfect fit except that the fuel line hose fitting was much smaller than the original (5mm vs. 1/4"). This requires an adapter which was not expected. Once fitted, the engine started, but initially ran poorly, but after a minute or so, it ran as good as new. I am very pleased, as for the last several years it was used (prior to it sitting unused for over 5 years), it would die occasionally when idling. Not anymore; It runs as good as new. Don't know how long it will stay this way, but it was a relatively cheap and easy fix. No adjustments were necessary, which is good because except for the idle speed, all other adjustment must be made with the carb off the engine (same as the original)!Update after 3 years of limited use:ATV started dying, then refused to start. Verified spark, removed carb and disassembled and found small chunks of gasket in bottom of bowl, probably plugging up jet. The bowl gasket is beginning to disintegrate. For the price, I can't really complain too much but a gasket should not do this. Too bad they cheaped out with the gasket material, probably saved them a penny or two but lost me as a customer, and recommend at least buying a better gasket if you want to use this product.

Works great! Moto4 ran on first start
This carb works perfectly. Bolting this guy right up, and BAM old moto has been brought back to life. Easy. As others have noted the fuel line barb is too small, but I just cranked down on a worm clamp. No leaks.
