This book gives you information about the breed in general and all the other infos about how to take care of your pug or the pug that is yet to come to your home. You get infos about the health, grooming, training, raising,... And all the infos are supported with beautiful pictures of pugs.

I got this book because I bought a Pug puppy and needed to know a lot about this breed. I found this book to be very helpful in the care of our new family member.

This is a great book for puppy owners. However I purchased it for an adult pug that we recently adopted and I the book did not provide enough information regarding adult, aging pugs.

Good book learned a lot

I received this book two weeks ago and within a day of owning it, read it cover to cover. It's relatively brief and had some good high level information, but not quite the level of detailed information I had hoped for. The pictures are ridiculously cute, so you'll enjoy reading the book, even if it leaves you asking more questions. I just saw the other Barron's guide with the training CD and that appears to be much more robust. I might pick that up as well before our new puppy comes home. All in all, a good book.

helps to learn basics about a pug

This book on pugs was very informative in all aspects of owning a pug, from tips to their history! Good book!

I like this book. It has all the info you need and isn't a long read. It is a good, little source of material that pretty much covers everything.

Great book for pug owners. Specially if you have never had a pug before. There is so much scary i formation online about all of the health problems that a pug can have that seems impossible that any would live longer than a week!This book cleared all my doubts and I have two very healthy pugs. I cannot recommend it enough.

I bought this book for my girlfriend and she loves it ! The contents are very informative and the pictures of the pugs are hilarious !

If you, like me, prefer to read and own a good book with lots of good pictures and handy check-lists that you can refer back to than webpages then ignore the man that claimed this was a rubbish book and buy away my friends! It is not the world's longest, most detailed guide to pugs (and everything mildly related) but its a great starting point and a good book to have to refer to for little things. Does assume you live in America (but most books do)
