Good product
I installed this on a 01 jeep cherokee xj. Installation took some time but it’s not hard, clean the mating surface and put the gasket on dry, that made the process take longer because I was worried about if I need to put it on dry or with some rtv and couldn’t find any answers anywhere. Tip: before removing the belts, pully and water pump, loosen the bolts (don’t remove) securing the pully to the water pump, it makes it easier to get it off laterBut I’ve been running it for about a year now and it’s been working great, very happy.

Better than carquest
The media could not be loaded. I purchased this waterpump only because the carquest waterpump leaked from inlet tube and did not fit well. the acdelco's Gasket fit snugly against mating surface and no leaks as of writing this and fits well,5/5.

Fits Good! Works Good! No Leaks!
Nice pump. Fit right on my '97 Jeep Cherokee Sport 4.0. Just used the pump and the gasket, no leaks. Clean up, and torque right and there is no need for the goop.

ACDelco has always made quality products in my opinion. If you’ve replaced these pumps before then you know it’s pretty straight forward. Quality, and has been lasting almost a year later. No play. Flow is great. And keeps temperature right where it needs to be.

Perfect fit…
Replaced original equipment pump on my 2001 XJ. This is the perfect replacement. Also replaced thermostat, hoses and radiator. Temps dropped about 5 degrees.
