We simply repinned the leads before installation and that allowed the solenoid to work properly. I couldn't send it back because I didn't getting around to putting it on till after the return window closed. I guess I'll send the extra money and get OEM from the dealer

Thanks to the product review of Ben S. we went ahead and ordered this solenoid. Tested the leads before we installed and sure enough, white and black leads are in the wrong position in the plug for our Kubota. We simply repinned the leads before installation and that allowed the solenoid to work properly.

Faulty out of the box
It was the right solenoid for my engine but it did not work straight out of the box. I couldn't send it back because I didn't getting around to putting it on till after the return window closed. I guess I'll send the extra money and get OEM from the dealer

Plug came miswired for Kubota
White and Black leads are in the wrong position in the plug, it is this way in the product pictures as well. Simply reversing the leads allowed the solenoid to work properly.

Worked great for 3 minutes.
Fit perfectly. Worked great for 3 minutes then it stopped abruptly and started smoking.
