Smart looking
As shredders go this is very nice looking one, compact in size looks expensive, tested it with a sheet a A4 compared to our previous ones this is whisper quite, front 2 wheels have locks on to keep it in place, the bin is easy to pull out and empty, hummed and hard for ages weather to purchase or not as it’s not the cheapest shredder but I’m glad I did, worth every penny, hopefully it’s built to last, it looks like it is, the shredded waist is very tiny and no way could anyone put together to read it

Very effective and performance great.
The media could not be loaded. Micro-cut shredding is much more effective for peace of mind in securing your documents are properly unreadable and unrecoverable and securly destroyed, this unit has a large capacity bin and will shred though alot of documents in the one go, no need to remove staples either, still noisy but quieter than my previous one, it's on casters to move around and has to brakes on front two, good value and can recommend.

Quient and efficient, so far.
This was bought as a replacement for an aged Fellowes DS-13C crosscut shredded that we'd had for about 10 years. That gave sterling service until recently, when it began jamming regularly and would only take two sheets at a time, (despite a rating of 8). As the Fellowes was so good, we decided to go for another one and decided on this model.I was a little concerned when I unpacked it, as the bin seemed a little thin and flimsy. One the cutting head unit had been clipped on, however, the extra weight gave the unit more stability and made it quite sturdy. The castors clipped in quite easilt and the unit is a lot more mobile than the old model as a result.I've only shredded a couple of batches of paper so far - about 50 sheets - but it works well. It's quieter than the old model and shreds to confetti-like pieces about 5mm across (see second picture) rather than the little strips the older model produced. (You can see a couple of them at the bottom of thre first pic).It works well, but, of course it's new. I'll try to remember to add an update after I've used it for a month or so.

Fantastic
I am hard to impress but this shredder did so. It is P5 security level meaning the shreddings are tiny thus making the security level much higher and the cost is very reasonable. I paid around £140 which is an absolute steal. Big solid machine, heavy, takes multiple pages with no problem, absolutely magnificent.|I've had about 10 shredders and this one is the best by far.Heavily recommended.

I know it's only a shredder...but this is great!
I have plenty of files of old papers / bank statements which I have been putting off getting rid of. My old shredder is OK but I needed one that was more robust. After much back and forth opted for this one- at £145 it seemed reasonable and a good price for it compared to other retailers. And glad I did. Received today and just emptied one lever arch file and it munched through the papers with ease. The shredder is reassuringly heavy and robust, the sheets fed through quickly and much more quietly than expected and the whole file of papers was gone in a matter of minutes. The indication if one is pushing through too much paper is also a really helpful feature. So as I said, it is only a shredder...but really delighted with it. 1 file down...about 50 to go...!! (And I never usually post reviews but given how much back and forth I spent trying to decide which to go for, felt this might help others in a similar situation).

Coped with everything I threw at it!
So far so good. Only had the M10 for three days. In that time it has eaten large piles of old papers and mail. The tiny shreds are an important feature. I'd also considered the smaller/lower-priced 8MC model but concluded it was underpowered and more of a toy compared with the quantities I need it to handle. There was a problem at first - some of my papers had been stored in a corner for a long time and had become damp. The machine really does not like damp paper and jammed more than once. It was fairly easy to unjam it.I also have used plentiful quantities of the recommended lubricating oil: https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0C7H886QCIt's basically rapeseed oil (also used for cooking). I noticed from reading various shredder reviews which described how the thing had exploded. I'm guessing that may have been a result of using a more volatile lubricant - vegetable oil is safer, keeps the machine running smoothly and quietly - and reduces dust too.

Potential Buyers Beware!
I am sorry to have to write this review and in particular to award just 1 star. However, I feel I must do so.I really like the shredder - it looks nice (IMO), it shreds the paper into very small pieces, which means you get more in the bin (as well as the increased security). And it is fairly quick and also quiet. The problem is the quality control at Fellowes, for the latest batch at least. I have had 3 of these units delivered and ALL of them have been defective in some way or another. The first one, the safety cut-out mechanism did not work properly, so when you insert the bin, the shredder was still disabled and would not operate. Useless. The second one, I didn't bother trying - it had something broken off inside and was rattling around and clearly not right. The third one, the "Reverse" switch does not work. Three deliveries, all defective. In the end, I decided to take the 2nd unit to pieces and found that a retaining screw had come loose and was rattline around. So I fixed it and have decide to keep that unit rather than try No. 4.If you get a good one, I suspect you will really like this shredder - I do. But who knows what you will get? I wish you better luck than what I have had.

WORKS
Got this one after two others we bought just died and jammed up after a few uses. This is amazing, it has good safety features and will not let you overload and put too many pages through.it has a warning orange light for when the bin is getting full and will not shred when its full as indicated by a red light.Great for a small office
