Everything about this Baba cake is great except the amaretto they chose. They need to learn of Amaretto Disaronno.

I have always eaten these with vanilla ice cream. No, no, noooo. Not no more. Haagen Daz Coffee is the combo these tasty, little confections were made for. This pairing is so good, your mouth will melt right off your face. I’m addicted. Do you like Tiramisu? The taste of these two together is very similar only a thousand times better.

The ris some indistinct, indesirable flavor used with this product. It does not taste good at all. Besides, it has much more rum than it should that enhances the unfavorable taste. Sorry to reveal that I got rid of the product after I tried more than once to endure the strange taste. Note that I have ordered the same product before ( probably a different brand) and it was acceptable enough to enjoy.

Ok, so to be fair, this was the second time only trying this, a friend made these for me and they where very moist, and had a hint of alcohol, once you swallowed it, you could taste that alcohol after taste, these on the other hand, each bite tasted like a shot of rum, I don't drink so I am not a big fan of the alcohol flavor, you might LOVE this aspect of it, but for those who don't love a shot from time to time, be careful. Also I was expecting a soft texture, the texture I got seemed more like the crust of bread, tho VERY moist, it still somehow seemed crusty to me. I want to make this clear, I am not someone who has much experience eating these and this could be a 10/10 product, so if you know this product well, ignore my review, but for those who just want to try it, it is very strong, my wife only took one bite and could not keep eating it, I on the other hand finished one of them completely to make sure to give it a chance, but I could not eat any more. I have a family member who does drink, Ill give these to her and see if she enjoys them. Ill update this review under this to give her opinion if she has one.

Delicious!! It does contain rum and amaretto, but unless you're drinking and eating the whole jar, I highly doubt it will be an issue. It's meant to be served one or two at a time with custard, ice cream, or cream. A great traditional Italian dessert.

Product arrived sticky , jar did not appear to be broken . Not sure about the seal but did not want to chance it and discarded. Have purchased this brand before with no complaints.
