good story, easy read
If you have a cat, you will enjoy this book more - "narrated" from the mind of a feline. Good story and easy read.

Cat knew his duty.
Humorous, fun to read and kept me reading to see how it turned out. Characters were well built even though it was a short novel. If you believe God administers miracles and puts people in the right place at the right time this is a book for you. I've seen this in my own life and was happy to read a book that wrote it well.

This is a good Christian fiction story that will give you life lessons
Pastor Jake arrives at his new church in the small town of Coudersport, Pennsylvania. The town is very small and one of the main meeting places is a MacDonalds. As Pastor Jake moves into his new home a stray cat comes up to him and "adopts" him. The cat has a sore paw so he takes the cat to the local vet, Emma. A few days later a runaway girl, Tassy comes to town and is allowed to live in a huge RV parked in back of the church. The town is so small it only takes a few hours for anything new to make its way around the town's rumor mill. Pastor Jake has a secret from his former life as an associate pastor he hopes to keep from the town. Tassy and Emma also have secrets. This is a good Christian fiction story that will give you life lessons.

Yes. Sometimes God Sends A Cat.
I really enjoyed this book. I do sort of wish it was a series. I would enjoy following the characters through their lives.

An Excellent Faith Builder!
This book began by introducing the three main characters in the story, Pastor Jake, Petey ~ the cat that God sent ~ and a young, homeless girl named Tassy. Of the three, the only one who actually had faith in God was Petey. He was sent to Pastor Jake the first day he arrived at his new church as pastor. Tassy ended up homeless in the same small town after being kicked out of her ex-boyfriend's car while headed to California.Although it may sound a bit like a soap opera by my description, it's actually one of the most moving and most honest examples of learning what life without faith is like that I have ever read. But the best and most important part of the book is when they realized how wonderful their lives became when their faith was restored!

A Positive and Uplifting Message
A good little story about a cat who helps a deepen a communities connection with God while helping his new human to find his own path to understanding and a few others too. The story is that if listen, no matter why, you will hear the message and it may take root. I found the ending to be quite different than I expected. Very refreshing. The torment of some of the characters is well presented and realistic.I admit that I am not a Christian, but, I am very engaged with spirit so even though my rationale may be different, I agree completely with the final outcome presented. It is so import to care for one another no matter the age, income, belief, or even species. This is how we learn humility and the things that may transform our souls so they may pass to the next level. The answers come in the times between our frenetic quests if we can quiet our minds, listen to the whispers and feel the love.

Excellent writing and totally recommended
I read 90% of this story in one sitting. The writing is great and I was able to picture all the characters and their surrounding environments quite vividly. I can still see them all in my mind's eye. The character's senses were also described very well. The facial expressions and body language of the characters: ditto. It reads like watching a movie, very well done. The story for me was not at all predictable until the last 1/4 of the book. Even then I didn't know what all the characters would think or do once they knew what I suspected.I only found 3 small errors in this book, Kindle edition.Very good read, recommended.
