Brass Metric Churn Weights

the set of weight are ok but its the way it has been displayed, the tray that the weights sit on is not part of the offer if you want the tray you need to pay an additional £6.50 plus packing and postage. now although it does state that the tray is not included it does so in small print, the seller took the picture of the weights with the tray to make it look good a bit like a wolf in sheep's clothing, the seller should not include the picture of the tray if it does not come with the weights and my personal view is that although it states at the end of the description the tray is not included the photograph is mis-leading.

A nice set of highly polished churn weights, with the metric value stamped on the top of each weight. The weights look great, are easy to handle and use, but I have only scored a '4' because the integral cast iron stand is not included in the package and has to be bought separately. To my mind the stand is absolutely essential to the set, being specifically machined to fit the individual weights, and keeping them organised and relatively secure - bought together they make a very nice set indeed, and thoroughly recommended.

None of the weights are accurate, the 5 grm. weighed 6 grms., the 10 grm. weighed 12grms., 500.grm. weighed 499 grms. etc., very pretty but definitely not for practical use. I am returning them very disappointed as I have very accurate avoirdupois weights which came with the balance scales years ago and I wanted metric ones.

This was a gift for a family member feed back from them was good she like the look and how the was presented

Very disappointing. Wrong weights supplied and returned. Correct weights supplied in December but without the black tray to hold them.

Good product, good service but better description would be good. It would be nice to know when buying the product what weights are included. ie, 1x500g, 2x200g, 1x100g, 1x50g, 2x20g, 1x10g 1x5g.

Reasonable quality for the price, first pair did not arrive but supplier contacted me to say that others were on their way before I would have expected to receive them... good customer service.

The weights were fine but I actually wanted Imperial not metric. My fault.I returned them for a repayment but I'm still searching for it on my account.
