It works!
We had replaced my sink and the old sink was glued onto my laminate countertops pretty good. We had a few cracks in the countertop from removing the old sink to put in the new one. I was frustrated and didn't want to have to go buy new countertops. Quick google search and this lifesaver popped up. I was pleasantly surprised how well it worked and filled in the few cracks we had. It blends right into the color I have now and looks much better. Videos on how to use were great to watch as well to prepare myself how to do. Super easy to use and clean up. Highly recommend this product. Make sure you get the 99 solvent with it.

Works great, but check out videos on how to use it.
The stuff works great! I used it to fix several small nicks in my counter, the largest being 1/8” x 1/4”, and the others round and smaller than a BB. They are gone! I can’t find them even knowing where to look. My counters have a satin finish (they are not glossy). Some suggestions: Watch the YouTube videos for how to knead and apply the stuff. They didn’t lie, it does harden fast so you need to work quickly. I used buck-a-bottle nail polish remover (100% acetone) as the solvent and it worked fine. I don’t know if the diluted or non-acetone nail polish removers would work. I used two plastic putty knives, one to knead and one to apply. Plastic so I was sure I wouldn’t scratch my counter. Two tools so I wasn’t using my messy kneader to put the filler into my nicks and getting the stuff all over my counter where I didn’t need it. The tools do clean up with the acetone, but you don’t have time while the stuff is hardening. When you use the solvent to remove the filler haze around your repair, be light and quick with it. Wipe too hard, and you remove some filler from the repair and you have to try again to get a flat surface. The acetone did not affect my counter top at all, but my vertical counter edges are natural wood and the acetone did lighten the finish a little. Moral of the story, avoid wiping acetone on finished wood.

First tube was damaged, but second tube was good
Arrived damaged. Contents was smeared all over interior of mailing package. Was not expecting this, so got the product on my fresh expensive manicure, blouse and kitchen counter. This, after waiting a week to receive it and now having to delay my project again while I wait for a replacement. UPDATE: The vendor mailed a replacement product, which arrived five business days after my complaint. I didn't expect the color to match my countertop, since the Formica has a beige and white swirl pattern. I just wanted to fill in some gouges before I painted the counters. I used acetone nail polish remover to clean the gouges, then applied the Seam-Fil. It worked great on four chipped areas, except for some reason it didn't easily fill one of them. I had to re-apply and then use acetone to smooth down this area. There's still a slightly raised area, but I'm choosing to ignore it. The product is not as thick as wood filler, it's very much like Elmer's white glue, in terms of consistency. I mixed it on a piece of cardboard and it worked fine. I took one star off just because it's not a perfect product - you have to work quickly and if your timing is off you can have a mess on your hands.

Really works!
Wow. I forgot to do a before and after of the first set, but found one more. I had small gouges in my counter top from knives slipping over the years. They have bothered me for years. The almond color was a perfect match and this was the easiest thing ever. Bought acetone from Walmart, tested on a corner just in case. Spread a small drop of the tube in paper, used a putty knife to scrap into indents, and wiped up with acetone. My counter looks like new. I can't even find where the holes were. I do have some even tinier holes that it wasn't able to fill, just wiped right off, but they're super tiny. All together, less than $20. Way cheaper than a new counter top. Shipping was fast, came a week earlier than projected. The filing did dry really fast, seems like within 1 minute. Highly recommend.

decent product..poor packaging
did a decent job in hiding the burnt marks in my countertop.. but u could still say that area is little bit different from the rest of the countertop.. what bothered me more was the packaging.. i received a deformed tube which looked like it was a run over by a car..but anyways it did what it was supposed to do..

I didn't want to replace the entire kitchen counters and was looking for a cheap but good fix so they damage would not be obviou
My children damaged the laminate counter top in the kitchen - many knicks and scratches and chipped edges. After a lot of searching, I saw a youtube video of this product to repair laminate counter tops. I didn't want to replace the entire kitchen counters and was looking for a cheap but good fix so they damage would not be obvious. Seam-Fil is awesome and did the trick! It was very easy to fill in the spots. Be sure to follow the product instructions for best results. I used a putty knife to fill in the blemished on the top of the counter. Deeper spots required more than one application. A word of warning: it dries quickly! I found that squeezing a dime sized amount out of the tube and working with it. Then repeat as necessary. If you squeeze out to much, it will dry out and you won't be able to use it. A little goes a long way too! I had a lot of areas to fix and barely used the tube. Plenty left over for the next time one of the kids uses the counters for a workbench. I also had to use it to repair deep gouges and chips on the edges of the counter (someone decided to saw the counters in multiple places). I used the putty knife and my finger to get the Seam Fil into the gouges. Again, it took multiple applications; but the quick drying time made the process very easy. I did use a fine grade sanding block to smooth it out (since my fingers aren't the best application tool). Highly recommended!!

ITS JUST PAINT
This is just paint, I have applied it to many objects as a test (yes including Formica seams) and regardless of the dry time it will wipe away with lacquer thinner. It's just an oil base paint, nothing else. You can get the same results (if not better) using nail polish. At least nail polish is harder to remove and MUCH less expensive to buy and mix your own color.
