Not exactly what I expected
The tips are soft and flimsy. They don't make "hair" like lines. They're felt. They do help darken and shape but they say it supposed to look like natural eyebrow hairs but it doesn't. Kinda like a brown felt tip marker... idk maybe I just don't know what I'm doing, but this wasn't what I was expecting. I most likely will not order this kind again. My eyebrows look painted on 😩

Love it!
I love this pen. My before and after pics may not be in order but it is easy to see which is which. If it weren't the pen would be worthless :)) I have some gray eyebrows, and a couple of "thin spots". Normally I will color my eyebrows and use this pen to fill in the thin spots. Now, my after pic, my brows need coloring and using the pen was only just a rush job which took a few seconds because I was in a hurry, yet the result is still a pretty decent one. This is dark gray. I had initially bought chestnut because my hair is dark chestnut, but that color looked awful on me. I had no problem sending it back and getting the dark gray pen which, surprisingly, is a much better color for me. I have been using the pen a couple of times a week if/when I leave the house and have experienced no problem like a chemical burn. I do apply it rather lightly, more like brushing my brows rather than pressing the pen down onto my skin. I wore it to the gym a couple of times, in the pool, no smudges. And one time I forgot to take it off before I went to bed, no stains on the pillow.

Not the best
Does not apply very well. I assume it would apply better if someone didn’t have any eyebrows, but with eyebrows it doesn’t work. I expected this however, due to the price. It also smudges VERY easily. I can wipe it off with my finger in one swoop.

Lasts a long time
I have been purchasing this product for a few years now. It doesn't make my eyebrows look super painted on, but just enough. I've even had people ask if I had them microbladed! I have to be careful when it's new, not to get too much on. It's better to just do light strokes. I store it cap side down and it lasts a few months!

Pretty bad
I usually use the Maybelline brow tattoo which is genius-but I will try anything with a tattoo style applicator because it truly looks like real eyebrow hair. I am a former high fashion makeup artist and I have never had much eyebrow hair-ever. Started drawing them on at age 12! Lol! Forty years later, I am an eyebrow expert for sure. People used to seek my out in NY to shape their brows. Anyway-this applicator is good like the Maybelline but it releases too much pigment ink so one must use an extremely light hand to get it right. My big problem was this product faded and smudged very easily and my Maybelline standby lasts much longer. Wonderbrow is the longest lasting brow product as far as waterproofing, but it is nearly impossible to get the individual brow hair realistic look with that. My third fave brow product is the original formula Anastasia Beverly Hills pencil with spoolie on end. I use a combo of the three products if anyone requests I do their makeup. For me, this eyebrow product was awful. When it fades quickly it leaves a weird ashy color on the skin.

Freehand or stencil?
Whatever your preference is for enhanced eyebrows this could be your go to product. The stencils are handy for beginners, but I’ve been doing it for long enough, but I can freehand my own. I really like the actual stick of product. For me, it has been easy to reply and long lasting. I am quite pleased.

Not consistent
Good concept, but the pen only works sometimes. Sometimes I get one "hair" out of the four ridges if I press lightly. If I press any harder, I get a "fat" hair that's closer to a smudge. Don't really get all four ridges to work at the same time. If the pen actually put ink on all 4 ridges consistently/evenly, I think it would be nice. But mine ends up like I put random spots of eyeshadow on my black brows. Not a good look. Tried it on the back of my hand. Same thing. Ink is not consistent/even. --There is ink. I shook it a little to see if the ink was stuck. A big glob came out the end. Wiped it up and tried again. Same thing. No ink on some ridges, press harder and it makes a fat line. Also, I have oily skin. I can wipe off quite a bit and get it to smudge just a few minutes after application by pressing on my brows and swiping. My brows end up looking worse than having no makeup. The search continues...
