I live in florida and if you know you know- the water creates and impossible to remove yellow ring in your toilet. This has stopped this and I always have one in my toilet. No more hours of scrubbing

We have a summer house on the Delaware. I replaced the bathroom and installed a new toilet. I added a chlorine-based toilet tank drop-in mostly to stop mold build up in the tank that has always been a problem. The house is served by a shallow 10' water well about 50' from the river. Within a day the toilet tank and bowl started developing a dark rusty stain that was difficult to clean. Turns out the chlorine-based tank drop-in was interacting with the iron in the water causing staining in the bowl. I removed the chlorine-based drop in and replaced it with IRON OUT toilet tank drop-in tablet. The directions on the box said it could take a while for the tablet to work. About a half-hour later I returned with Bar Keepers Friend to clean the toilet mineral stains and the staining had already faded and was almost gone with IRON-OUT, just a light yellowish-brown stain. I left it alone and returned an hour later and the toilet and tank were a pristine white. The drop-in tablet lasted about 10 weeks this summer before I had to replace it. And the IRON OUT also prevented mold and mildew from growing in the tank. The house is a seasonal house on the river that we own and used by my sons and sisters and their families. It was mostly the ick factor that I was concerned about with the mineral staining in the toilet. I know a water softener would work but it would be just another item to winterize. I purchased a few more packs of IRON-OUT and it is all I use now. I purchased this in 2019 and still use it to this date 6/2022. Works really good on iron staining in the tss as no and bowl.

I like these. They do help keep my toilet from staining since i do have well water. Wish they had a scent like clean linen or something fresh. They have no scent tho which it better than a bad scent. They last about 3 weeks, i would recommend if you have well water, helps keep the toilets clean.

Cleans the toilet but realistically it didn't clean the tank or the rust stains.

Didn't work to my satisfaction and smells really bad with every flush. I have used the actual powder that comes in a container of this same product which works much better. It still smells bad but you only have to deal with it while it's working on the rust stains.

I live in IL and the well water here is RUSTY!!! When we bought our house a yr ago the toilets and sinks were nice and white. Within a week of moving in the water in the toilet bowls was turning reddish orange...everyday I was cleaning 4 toilet bowls. I asked a neighbor if they had the same thing...ohhh yeah wasn't just us. She had been here 2 yrs and waas desperate to find help. I started researching how I could combat the problem without spending $8000.00 for whole house filtration system...thats on my "I wanna list". I saw Iron OUT in a couple articles so when I was in Lowes I saw it on the shelf and decided to try it...it was less than $3.00 if it didn't work I wasn't out much. So put a tablet in the 2 most used toilets...and by the end of the day they were clearing up. That sold me...I puta new tablet in the tank every 3 months...works great. I also found Iron Out in a spray gel....in a few squeezes I have sparkling white sinks. The shower was awful in the MB so thought what the heck...before my eyes the shower floor went from orang to white and the rust on the quartz tiles ran down the drain. Iron Out also comes in crystal powder...if u have company coming and need sparjling toilet bowl...swish the brush around the bowl then sprinkle in about 1/3 cup..the water foams around the edges..close the lid and flush 10 min later...easy peasy sparkling clean. I also add 1/2 cup to my ALL WHITE load of towels and clothes...no more dull orange whites. I know I sound like a commercial but this stuff literally made me stop regretting our buyjng our beautiful new home.

I don't know why exactly but these have made my toilet flush mush better. I used to have to plunge almost everyday and was thinking about replacing my eco-flow water saving toilet. So these tablets saved me about $600.

Used fir hard water, rust staining the bowl. Worked for 10 days. The staining came back and I took the tank cover off and had this pile of chemicals just sitting there.I scooped it out. Bagged it and trashed it.Not using the 2nd one. Through it out. Waste of money.
