The media could not be loaded.  Awesome bell. It was larger than I thought. Shiny brass. I've included a picture with a play 'ships wheel' to put its size into perspective. Also have a video of the ring. Very shiny, pretty, and a great addition to the playhouse. Only a few negatives. First, the ring which holds the bell clapper is probably the weak link. I have not had a failure, but I may go ahead and replace it with something more sturdy. Second, if you look at the video, the bell swings wide depending upon how it is rung. If you mount it to a post (as shown), the bell can swing out to hit the post which clamps some of the ringing. This can be easily remedied by mounting it further from the post (which would allow a free swing back and forth). All in all, I would definitely purchase this again.

I bought the 4” and it’s so perfect and appears to be high quality and sounds so pretty too. It will be perfect for my daughter’s new playhouse!

Used just as a bell in our granddaughters loft playarea. Just a fun thing. They incorporate the ringing of the bell in play.Very well made and really worth the price. Perfect size - nice ring.

The bell is nicely finished and polished, as well as the hanging hardware. Aesthetically, it makes a striking addition to an entry doorway. The tone, however, is a bit tinny, given that the bell was cast relatively thin--probably to save brass, which is expensive. I'm not totally surprised. I'm sure a good sounding bell would be several times the price.

The media could not be loaded.  This thing is everything I hoped for. Beautifully turned brass from India. I am guessing they are easy on heavy metal exposure. The link hardware between the braket and bell is stainless steel. The clapper appears to be iron. The rope is nicely braided. The tone is pretty and with good tone depth. I will try to link a video for the sound and a couple photos. I would say it sounds like a train moving around the yard. It is larger than I expected so it looks like a dinner bell not a toy. They delivered earlier than expected. As others mentioned it does not include mounting screws. I got more screws than sand on the beach. I would definitely recommend this bell.

We have a front doorbell that doesn't work, and I thought living in the country that this bell would be the perfect replacement. And IT WAS! You can hear the bell ring no matter where you are in the house. It is a beautiful addition to the front porch and has a nice clear ring. It arrived a week before I was even expecting it which was a very pleasant surprise. Oddly, though, it did not come with brass screws so we had to go out and purchase these. All in all a great experience and a great product.

It is very sturdy and has been out in the weather for a year now and the brass is still shiny.

This bell is outside on the fire station playhouse in the kids play ground. They love to ring it and pretend there is a fire somewhere!! Looks great on the wooden fire station!! Just the right size.
