Microfibre Hypoallergenic Moses Basket Mattress Will Fit Mamas & Papas and Mothercare Moses Baskets (71x40x4cm)

There were two main issues with this mattress. Firstly, it arrived having been folded in half. Well anyone with an ounce of information about babies knows that a mattress with a fold or dip in it increases the risk of sudden infant death syndrome, so quite why they didn’t send it flat is beyond me. Secondly, the mattress was actually much bigger than the specifications said it would be, so it didn’t fit anyway. I sent it back, and it said I should get my postage back. Postage was £3.55 (basically a third of the cost of the mattress), but I was only refunded £11.99 (the cost of the mattress). Essentially, I’ve paid £3.55 to have a shoddy product sent to me, and I’ve had to go in my own time to the Post Office to send it back at 39 weeks pregnant. Avoid at all costs!

I was really pleased when this arrived, after reading other reviews about it being sent folded in half, I was a little worried, but with there being a lot of time before it will be used, I knew i could allow it to straighten out. However, I didnt need to, it was send to me flat which meant I could put it stright i the moses basket (which it fit perfectly). I was very happy, no chemical smell, arrived earlier than thought, would buy again if I needed to.

Good mattress, but was sent folded in half which isnt ideal as they are meant to be flat for the baby without dents in it.

My son seems to love sleeping in his moses basket at night but he's only 4 weeks old and already despite choosing the thickest size. Has an imprint in the mattress of where he lies in it. The previous mattress I used lasted 4 months without leaving an imprint and bounced back to life every time. This one does not. I can't imagine it lasting the length of time my son will require the mattress. I have to take out daily now give it a bit if a whack to try remove the depressions and i rotate in hopes that might help it last longer too.

Not used the product yet as waiting for small person to arrive but looks nice quality. Disappointed mattress came in post folded though as means the middle has lost its strength and therefore keeps folding in half again when placing the Moses mattress sheet on it (and the sheets are the right size).

Very happy with this, was a bit on the fence about ordering as there where a lot of bad reviews saying it was sent fold and couldn't be use, but thought I would take the chance hoping seller might will have stopped sending them like that after all they bad reviews, which clearly they have, as mines was sent nice and flat and is really lovely and thick , very happy with it, glad I looked past bad reviews and ordered Defo recommend

The mattress did fit into the moses basket we have, as measured and advertised but unfortunately I felt that the mattress could be a better quality, it wasn't as thick as I was expecting. I like that the mattress came delivered flat, rather than rolled up as other customers had complained about and I was worried about ordering this mattress for that particular reason. Maybe use this as a spare.

Not used yet but seems substantial enough for our baby girl when she arrives.Quick delivery, arrived unfolded and no unpleasant "new" smell when un wrapped. Fits nicely into mamas & papas moses basket
