Dont spend houndreds on fork repairs until you try this out first
Had a fork seal leak going out on my motorcycle and didnt wanna go through the hassle of rebuilding them. I always heard the fork seals "blow" but in reality they really dont just blow out like that because its most likely dirt build up inside the seal its self. The pricing is a little ridiculous for a 15 dollar piece of plastic but it definitely beats going to the shop and paying 100s .

Miracle tool, really
Had a sep on one fork of vstrom. I used this to remove a bit of grunge and after 6,000 miles there is not a bit of oil coming past the seal. A lot cheaper and easier than a seal replacement.

Amazing
I was a little skeptical about buying it, I said what the hell I'll give it a try i will buy it... I tried and cut a thin piece of plastic to look like the sealmate but it didn't quite work.. I bought this and it worked like a dream..2001 FZ1

I really cannot recommend these.
I understand the concept. It's the execution that fails. They are brittle, they are difficult to bend around the fork so you can slide it under the seal. If you're lucky you'll get one use out of it. And for what it is, it's stupid expensive. You can make a very good tool just like it that will work infinitely better out of a windshield washer fluid bottle. Or similar. 2 l bottle, you get the idea. I love the idea of cleaning your fork seals instead of replacing them which is a giant pain, but these just aren't worth the money.

Fixed my fork leak Vstrom 1000
It's a simple product. But it's what it can do that matters. I was prepping for an expensive oil seal when someone on the Vstrom forums suggested I try the Seal Mate first. So I did, and to my surprise the leak is gone. I'll keep monitoring the situation, but for now I'm happy!I think dirt and debris gets rubbed and collected onto the oil seal from riding a lot. This affects the actual "seal" capability of the oil seals. My leak was fairly strong and noticeable.

Saves time, money and back breaking effort
This really works on a minor fork leak, surprised me. Bought it to try out before going for an all out fork rebuild on a 2006 FJR 1300. Has been spotlessly clean since I ran it through the bad seal I had on one fork. Saved tons of time and money - fork rebuild was not as necessary as it appeared. :)

Work for me.
I saw videos stating this would help or fix fork seal leak. I was quoted $600 to replace both fork seals on my Victory (only one was leaking, but I figured I’d do both) so I thought I’d give this a try. I cleaned it with this 3 times as shown on the video. It worked! I have put on 200+ miles since and still no leak. Small price and easy to do. Saved me a lot.

Perfect
Great addition to any bikers tool box. If your seal is leaking clean them out. This style works well but so does the style that wraps around your fork and you just spin it.

Works but has its challenges.
The product is very flimsy. But it does work. Order at least two because I wrecked the first one. Also the video says you mayb lose a little oil. This is an understatement the oil just kept pouring out as I was trying to rotate the tool around the fork. Was very difficult to get it move around the fork and very slippery. It did the job tho. Saved me from having to rip my forks apart and replace the seal. 4 stars is very fair rating.

Not bad not good
Thought this item would have been made a little sturdier. Tip folded over on the first try so it ruined one side. Made my own out of a plastic bottle prior to purchase and it was very flimsy as was this. Very similar. Seemed to have worked as pumping it in the garage produced no leaks. Running it on trails will prove it. Try and update later.

worked great!
Dealer told me I needed new fork seals. I cleaned them with this - and sure enough they stopped leaking.

Would not buy... save your money and do the fork seals
First one bend like nothing and nows no good. Then when I tried it with the second one it just leaked all the fluid out of my shock instantly
