Only good for scarves
They are larger than expected and the ends are not sharp so poke holes in clothes. Only good for scarves, thick knits.

Does the trick for heavy wool costume materials!
We had a heavy wool skirt on an actress, the material was so thick regular pins wouldn't do. These were perfect. Very strong. And less shine than a normal pin, which is ideal for camera in a period piece.

As Advertised, Very Sturdy
These pins are just as advertised, thick metal and very sharp. I'm using them to hold towel seat covers in place in my car. I've only used 4 stars until I see how they hold up.
