Q: Why is valley of tea alishan on amazon from april 2018, whereas the same tea on valley of tea website was harvested in september of 2018 (fresher)?

I have no idea. I once found-and I can not remember where, a Taiwanese green tea called Jade tea and loved it. I wanted to buy it again and found some or what I thought to be the same online . While it was good, it was not as good as the original Jade green tea from Taiwan I originally had found. That said, Harney & Sons is where I usually go to buy teas. Excellent products, selections and know quality. Check out their free teas and see if something similar is available. They have green teas from China, Taiwan and Japan.

Q: Why doesn't the vendor offer the fresher, September Oolong from their own website on Amazon?

I have also noticed a number of tea sellers on Amazon that are not upfront about the date of tea they are presenting. That is a detail that should always be included. Hope someone is listening.

There is very little oxidation if any at all to this tea. It is a rolled, whole leaf, tea that has not been baked. My husband and I classify this is a very green oolong tea.
