VandorenSR2635R Java Filed Red Cut Alto Saxophone Reeds (Strength 3.5) (Single)

This is my favorite type of reed to play on for any type of genre of music. I used a box for marching band and I enjoyed the fact that it didn’t dry out very fast and 1 reed lasted me a very long time.

Pretty consistent, these work pretty well with my mouthpiece and horn setup

I've used every other reed the v12 java and a few others. But none have compared to the constancy of these. Yes they take a bit longer to break in but will you a longer life span per reed and sound better. I also use them for my baritone.

These have been my go to reeds for years now. They sound great. I like to use 3s for alto and tenor. The resistance is just right.

Sounds good but wish it was cheaper

excellent reeds suits rock, jazz, soul, funk, pop style of music. Use the Vandoren Traditional for classical music. Although like all reeds cos they're a natural product..expect some reeds to be better than others..

Changed reeds for the first time in a while and very happy with these.

Only one reed .. don't be misled by the price drop, apparently it's a mistake from Amazon

Whilst these reeds are a little more expensive than the basic ones they give a better tone and last longer

As usual with Vandoren reeds, excellent quality. And great tone.
