Sturdy ladder
Bought this ladder to replace my old wood ladder that was getting wobblier as the years went by. Since at 76 I'm getting wobblier myself I wanted something that was solid to give me confidence when getting up to 8ft+ ceilings for replacing lights or cleaning fans, etc. This ladder is everything I'd hoped for. The steps are firm and deep... no need to hang your heels off the step. The four-step version I bought gets me as high as I need to go with a solid top handrail to keep a grip on once I'm up there. The side handrails are nice but not as important to me as the top rail... however they do add another level of safety and that's not a bad thing. You do have to bolt the side and top rail to the ladder when you receive it but it's a simple process that I'm sure about anyone can handle. It comes with a tool bag, or pouch, that slips over the top rail and is very handy for keeping stuff at your fingertips so trips up and down the ladder are kept to a minimum. The ladder isn't light so some may have a little trouble carrying it around. One of the reasons for the weight is the fact that the steps are heavy gauge metal with rubber step surface. A lot of the other ladders of this type that don't weigh as much have plastic steps... not just the surface, but the whole step. I'll take the extra weight and the extra sturdiness the metal steps give you. I give this product 5 stars and don't have any "cons".

Quality made
This stepladder is perfect for what I need it for. I folds and unfolds easily, doesn’t take up much space, and the size and height are perfect for most in house tasks: changing lightbulbs, cleaning curtains, etc. I highly recommend this stepladder, it is sturdy, functional and very use friendly.

Not quite as stable as I had hoped.
I’ve used the ladder for almost six months.Pros: It was easy to attach the padded side handrails and they are helpful, non-slip steps with deep groves feel solid, it folds and opens easily, easy to store and not too heavy or awkward to move upstairs when needed. Good value for the money.Cons: Delivery was slower than expected, almost three weeks instead of 4-5 days. I messaged Cust Serv & was told it was due to peak season logistics. Unfortunately the ladder is not quite as stable as I had hoped when climbing up, so be careful - maybe the flaring at the bottom or lack of weight compared to the steps??? Missing tool bag, so I’ve done a little work around by looping one handle of a recycle bag to attach to the top of the ladder for tools.Opinion of 67 year old woman :)

Stable and Well Crafted
Every once in a great while I find a product on Amazon that truly does make my life easier and proves to be a great value. This 3-step ladder is one of those amazing buys.I have tinnitus, which sometimes causes a bit of an inner-ear imbalance problem. I don't get dizzy, but I sometimes do a feel a bit unsteady on my feet, especially if I'm standing on something other than solid ground. Consequently, I don't feel very stable using a simple 2-step folding step stool I have had for years. But I'm petite (only 5'1"), so using a step ladder is an absolute necessity around the house.I was recently working on a project for which I needed a bit more height but I was nervous about feeling unsteady on a higher ladder. I saw this ladder and it seemed to be the answer to my worries, so I ordered it.I am happy to say it lived up to all its claims. It was extremely easy to assemble (I am FAR from "handy" so if I could put it together, anyone can) and pretty lightweight. It easily folds and hangs out of the way on a hook in my garage when I'm not using it. Having the padded side rails made all the difference!! I felt very secure even when standing on the very top step. It felt very stable and was easy to set up, move to different spots, fold closed, carry, and put away. I also liked the tool bag that was included. The bag meant I could stash the items I was hanging within reach so I didn't have to keep climbing up and down. Some people have complained that the ladder is pretty narrow nd therefore difficult to fit your body in between. I can see that possibly being the case. I'm small and weigh about 130 pounds and wear single-digit sizes, so for me the width was more than enough, but a large person might have difficulty with this ladder.

Just what I needed!
So nice when what you get is exactly what you needed! So, let me first say, though the weight of the package felt very hefty and solid, once it was assembled, it's quite easy to move around and doesn't feel as heavy as it does in the box. Now, I'm not a small person, though no where near the 500 lb limit. Around 240ish. My ladder is way too heavy to move in and out of the house from the garage for quick needs. I have to admit, just feeling this stool and looking at it once assembled, I questioned whether it would hold my weight, let alone 500lbs. Once you get on it, it's quite stable, sitting on the floor without my weight, it almost feels wobbly. I climbed to the 3rd step which was more than adequate for reaching my shelves and recessed lighting. I LOVE IT! The rails give me the added safety factor. I don't think you'll be disappointed. Though it might not feel like, it is engineered to carry your weight, nuts and bolts and weight bearing all in the right place. Use it properly, you'll be safe and you'll find it useful. Great product!!! I'll come back if anything changes. Oh, another note about the side rails. Make sure to use a wrench and screw driver to get the nuts and bolts as tight as possible. Be careful using a power screw driver. The photo on Amazon shows the nuts pointing inward, but the instructions say to insert the nut/screw from the inside facing out. I think this is best as the screw sticks out quite a bit and could potentially scratch your ankles if facing in toward the step. So far, this is the only small flaw I found. You can buy caps for the nut to avoid scratching yourself when handling the stool and if you're handy, saw off the extra.
