This product is Avon's best selling product by a mile due to its insect repellent properties. It's not sold as an insect repellant but is raved about in magazines and in the press for doing the job! Spray on damp skin to lock in essential moisture, light non-greasy formula. Don't go on holiday without this! Spray on over your sun lotion or alone in the evenings to keep the insects away. The oil is totally dry and does not leave any marks or smudges on your clothes. It helps soften your skin and is best applied after a bath or shower whilst the skin is slightly damp as this locks in the moisture. There is a very pleasant woody smell and the oil is clear. If you want a fresh 'just stepped out of the shower' smell this is pretty close. It contains citronella which is a lemon smell and which helps to repel insects. The spray comes in 150ml and has a pump dispenser. You have a two in one product here so I would recommend giving it a try. Don't go on holiday without it! Plus 1 x Free wine nail varnish as pictured!

Horsefly repellant
I bought this after reading it repels horseflies. The area of Italy where I like to go on holiday has terrible horseflies and last year I got so many bites it spoiled the holiday. After doing extensive research this year into how to avoid getting bitten, I saw many people had recommended Avon Skin So Soft as a fly repellent so I bought 2 bottles of it. I wasn’t really expecting it to work, but after getting bitten 3 times in the first 10 minutes of my holiday, I then sprayed myself all over with the dry oil and sure enough, I didn’t get another bite all week. It sprayed it on over my sun cream but beware, if you put it on and then go straight out in the sun, I think it might accelerate sunburn. It has quite a pleasant smell and it certainly worked for me.

Great but doesn't repell mosquitoes
I love the scent and it really makes your skin soft. A lot of people say it's a great insect repellent and that was the reason I bought it - to repell mosquitoes on my holiday in Greece. Unfortunately it didn't work at all. Equipped with extra insect repellent bracelets I was still bitten. So if you're planning to buy it just for your skin-go for it! But if you want to use it as an insect repellent - buy something else designed for it.

Fine for day to day in UK, rely on proven methods whilst on holiday though.
I used one spray on arms and legs and abdomen. I have not been bitten since. This means the bottle(s) will last for a long time. I did treat the entire house with normal flea spray after a neighbour's cat kindly brought me some visitors though. It actually works.I wouldn't rely on this if I was going to an environment abroad with insects that carry some nasty diseases though.Fine for the UK.

Fab product kept mozzies away abd left my skin soft silky and smelling lovely will but again for the summer

No bites !
Used this for a trip to Thailand as a protector from insect bites . No bites ! And my skin felt amazingly soft . Using it now everyday as a moisturiser . Easily absorbed. Lovely product .
