A cheap very sensitive radio.
I'm amazed at the sensitivity of this radio. It easily matches the radiwow 108 & my Degen 1103 & XData D808 which are good solid radio's (at 4 times the price & more). Sound quality is middiling but better than the Retekess V115 which sounds appalling through ear phones (even good quality ones) because it is so tinny & could easily damage your hearing if you don't watch the volume levels. In fairness to the Retekess V115 this radio sounds better through its bass enhanced speaker only but the effect is spoilt by occasionally blowing when the bass enhancement is over saturated. The only quibble with the Covvy is the rather restricted Short Wave bands available (at approx 5 to 21 mhz) but does cover the main areas of interest. Strangely though the Fm band on this radio is bigger than normal at 63 to 108 mhz which I have seen makes this a winner with some sports fans because it will pick up on-ground commentary which I beleive is within the lower end of the Fm Band.Sensitivity is very good on all bands & is also its selectivity is of an high standard. As a ham radio hobbyist I have to say at the price point of less than a tenner (£10) makes this radio a real bargain. One last great trick up this radios sleeve is the memory autotuning system which is a joy to use & is better than the XDATA 808 which is quite weired to use. Also worth noting is the manual tuning is both by scan button & also by the tuning wheel, this is normally something only found on more expensive equipment.I have had this radio a week now & using fresh batterys & have used it 2 or 3 times a day on the same batterys.

Small radio
Nice battery operated radio a bit smaller than I expected but it's digital which is very good for tuning stations on Fm also the sound could be better but having said it's pretty good for its size and the battery's should last for ages.

Great little radio, perfect for our emergency pack
The radio works perfectly and is very sensitive, finds and picks up distant stations clearly and is pretty loud too when turned up !.Found plenty of distant stations on SW too despite what some reviewers claim. It is easy to use and great value for money, nice and compact too. There is a little fold out stand on the back that makes it easy to position the radio where you want it.Tested and now added to our emergency kit we are building due to the crazy times we are living in.Highly recommend.

Ok for listening to spoken word. Too tinny for music.
Take note it's pocket size and therefore the sound is tinny. Lots of treble. But the sound does travel on full volume. Had to return as started not to turn on and when it did the blue screen flickered. This seemed only to happen when left in the cold. Room temperature seemed to work. Wouldnt say worth the money. Can get delivered straight from China for under £4, but will have to wait 30 days.

The radio worked for less than 2 months.
The radio was purchased on July 7th 2022. It was for me to use when going to sleep, I needed something small with a sleep mode and listening to it helps me nod off. Now it sounds fine for about 5 mins. but then it looses the signal. I shall have to discard it and get another make of radio after using it for less than 2 months.

Great reception, even for SW
Don't let the price or simplicity fool you, this little radio is a beast.I've bought one emergency radio 3x the price and am returning it because this one has got much better reception, even for SW (and no proper antenna extension).Good volume, excellent sound. It's very difficult to find a cheap radio with LCD screen and rotating tuner together, but this one has got it. The option to use disposable batteries is a plus if you need a radio for emergencies. The memory function is easy to use. Will buy more for the family.

Great value.
This radio is just as shown and is great value for money. Good sound, and excellent reception. If you want a basic, reliable receiver for home or work this is the one to go for at this price point. The light-up clock is useful if you keep it beside your bed at nighttime, too but note is only offers the time in 24 hour format which isn't something to bother me, but is worth mentioning.
