Mochi Recipes: The Best of Japan Food Culture

I've cooked several recipes from this cookbook and they were all delicious. I've never made mochi before using this book, so it was nice to find reliable recipes. This book is definitely going to save me on my Etsy bill, which was my go-to for pure, wholesome, hypoallergenic mochi before this. The recipes are ok. The format is far from ideal. Basic book

A picture for every recipe. Not your run of the mill mochi. Not sure if I'm trying these but at least I know where to look

Yet another mochi recipe book that lacks the information to cook mochi without research from other sources. This style of book is of very little use to amateur cooks as there is far too much guesswork needed. Very disappointed.
