I have this curved big toenail. After a while it starts to really dig in and becomes a bother. I used to jam the regular clippers in there and it was painful and bloody. These are a game changer. I can do such a good job, takes care of it for a few months. Oh, you can cut yourself with these, sharp, pointy and strong.

These are very pretty snips. They are heavy duty and sharp. With my old pair, I had issues with the thing in the middle that keeps them open popping off. This one is made differently and much better! I don’t have to worry about it slipping off and possibly cutting me. I highly recommend these!

Addendum: I bought this item a couple years ago. It's very sharp and works well. However, the handle is very slippery, and it can slip out of your hands easily. This is a big problem when using. When it drops, there is great potential for the cutting portion to be damaged. The tip of my unit now has a bent tip and no longer works precisely. Some kind of rough strip should be applied to the handles to make them more stable in your hand. I am not inclined to repurchase this item.Original review: I like these cuticle nippers. They are very sharp, and get the job done. My only complaint is that they are rather large, and I would prefer something smaller to get at the very small places on my fingers and toes.
