Great value
Easy release buckle is sturdy and goes on easily. The rubber belt is strong and holds 13 lbs weights with ease.

4 lb homemade weights x4
Rookie diver, revisiting this sport from childhood with my dad. However this is my first weight belt. It is easy to adjust and holds tension well. Very comfortable, doesn't cut into me while providing nonslip hold of 20 lbs on my waist. The weights hold tension well on the belt and won't shift. Although possible to slide them while wearing the belt, it's much easier to adjust them when taking off the belt. They didn't slide on their own once worn.

Overall best freediving belt I’ve tried...
I use this belt for freediving and, I must say, I can’t see a belt getting any better than this. The inner ribbing keeps the belt positioned exactly where you want it, as we wear these belts very low, below our hips, in freediving. I use the standard 2” Sea Pearls hard weights with Omer D-Rings on top of them. Everything slides on no problem and, more importantly, stays firmly in place. Riffe offers replacement buckles, as well as the the actual rubber belt on their website at a super reasonable price. The nylon glass filled buckle is bombproof and has an extremely secure grasp on the rubber. The buckle will not come loose unless you want it to. The price is right, it’s a simple product, but the quality is top notch. Freedivers: this is the one to get.

Good quality belt
This is a good quality belt. I bought my first one in 2015 and used it regularly until it broke in 2018. I was living in southern Nevada at the time and the summer temps around 120 degees F are hard on rubber. I bought the same one to replace it.

Best style of belt to use for freediving....
Best style of freedive belt (the brand name doesn't really matter). easy to adjust so you don't have excess belt to drag or catch on the reef and you don't need more than one, unlike the buckle type belts that you trim to fit your wetsuit. Also you can get a better fit on your tightness. Often the holes in the buckle belts are too tight or too loose, the holes can also tear. This belt you can adjust to fit any wetsuit and has great stretch. You can chance buying here but it's always best to test out your belts for stretch if you can. No two belts stretch equally.

Works great! The buckle is made of plastic and the belt is made of a tough rubber. The Rubber really makes a big difference compared to regular nylon weight belts. It is much easier to make it tighter and feels amazingly comfortable. It stretches so I wrap my catch bag around the belt when i dont want it to be loose. This would be very difficult with a nylon belt. Also the buckle is of great quality. Pros: Comfortable, High Quality, Length is easy to shorten if needed. Cons: Cant find any

For the price it is ok. What I was worried about when it was brand new, the Belt was very tight when inserted in the lock mechanism, and I found it hard to get released in case of an emergency. But now it is ok
