guess i'm not so good at crosswords after all. this book seems to have lots of errors and word associations with which i am not familiar. for example, one clue is "black and blue". the answer is livid. I've never heard the word used in that context before. another is "____atrial node; pacemaker". But the answer is "sinu", an incorrect partial spelling of the word sinoatrial. in yet another, the author refers to "chir" as meaning "hand". it does not mean hand, it refers to handedness; they are not the same thing. had i known that 1. I was so bad at crosswords, or 2. that there are so many poor clues in these books, I would not have made this purchase. these are only some of the examples in the first two puzzles.

I was looking forward to this book, but so far I am a little disappointed with some of the clues and answers as they do not seem to be accurate. I have a background as a medical transcriptionist and also as a critical care RN. I have only tried working the first two puzzles but so far some of the spelling of answers is incorrect and there are clues that do not fit the answers per the answer key. Hoping it gets better as I go through the book

good way to study/practice but in a fun way

This is one of the best medical crossword puzzle books out there! Highly recommended for students, medical professionals, or anyone interested in expanding their medical knowledge.

So much fun! Some clues repeat within the same puzzle and some are unclear. But I really enjoy it and will buy more.
