This is Buddy’s absolute favourite toy. In large, it’s the perfect size for him to get in his mouth and shake it. And shake it. And shake it. We have gone through a few in about eighteen months, but one of Buddy’s joys is when Honky (as he is known in our house) is near the end of his life, and his seams are starting to come undone. Buddy gets his long snoot into Honky’s innards and pulls out the stuffing, leaving it all over the house and garden. Buddy’s daddy and I re-stuff Honky, and Buddy starts all over again. And when the squeakers start to come out with the stuffing, we retire Honky and bring out another. That might not sound like a great advert but this toy really takes a battering when Buddy has seen a cat/squirrel/rabbit/mouse/fast moving plastic bag on his walk, and it’s the first thing he goes to when he gets home. Honky really gets it then. I’ve seen so many greyhounds with this toy that I used to think that it was standard issue with a long dog. As well as being soft and plush, Honky has a rattle, a squeaker and a honkmaker. We always have one in reserve.

Had bought a smaller one in a big department store for my little puppy and sadly when he decided to grow up and turn into a little rascal this was the first toy to get absolutely destroyed. I came across this bigger one and had to buy it seeing as it was his favourite toy. Please note though that this makes a horrendous noice and that if your dog likes to chew on its toys then the TV will be going to MAX! Great toy though and definitely worth the money.

Have bought three of these over the past 6 years. My dog loves this particular toy and regularly plays with it, hence the need for 3 as he tends to wear them out and tear them, but he is a tremendous chewer and tugger. You have to watch that when they split it needs taking off your dog (have tried to repair them on occasions by sewing them up) as the stuffing comes out, or (god forbid) the squeaky inners could choke.

My dog loves these and they were discontinued at our local pet shop. Sourced one on here. Magic. Also the squeek is more of a low down growl so alot less irritating for me but entertaining for the dog.

My 6 month old labrador loved playing with this for 20 minutes before the face burst open and the stuffing came out. Not durable.

We’ve purchased these hedgehogs for a long time, all of my dogs have loved them. It comes in different sizes but the squeaks and snorts are the same in all of them. Fairly tough as it has survived my biggest chewer. Soft, cute, fun noises and tough. We’ll keep buying them!

My ten month old Shepherd/maybe Doberman cross just loves this thing. She destroys all toys. She's working on this one too but has only managed to wreck one foot/squeaker so far. We tug with it, throw it, you name it. It will die, I'm sure, but it's much sturdier than most other toys I've bought her. She loves the silly sound it makes too, and it usually makes me laugh as well.I bought the XL version which I think has helped it survive this far. It's a mouthful!

Homer the Hedgehog has been my dog's favorite toy since a long time now. We've gone through 4 Homers so far, and this time I decided to upgrade Homer to a bigger size. I was initially worried that this Deluxe version might be too big for her (she's a 20 kg Indian breed), but she LOVES him! The grunt is extremely lovable and not annoying like the other high-pitched squeaks some toys let out. Sure, Homer has a squeaker too, but it is hard to find and my dog loves the grunt sounds more, so that's all she focuses on. I'll be buying this again, and again. I hope Kyjen never stops making these!Word of caution: Use only under supervision if you want Homer to last longer. Once play time is over I put the toy out of her reach so she is doubly enthusiastic about playing with it when I give it to her the next day.

The sound is really cute and not squeaky (like a baby or small animal) which is good. The dogs had the sound boxes and stuffing out quickly despite supervision. Now they run around tussling over the remains - they really love the texture of this toy. Bought 3 toys at the same time - it was this one they were obsessed with.Someone should sell them with out stuffing and on subscription lol.

Wartezeit war Ok, da es aus der USA kam. Spielzeug kommt bei unserem Hund sehr gut an da die Geräusche sehr verlockend sind . Allerdings nach zwei Wochen waren an der Nase die ersten Fäden und am Rücken war die Naht aufgegangen. Der Rücken würde wieder genäht und die Fäden entfernt und somit wieder voll einsatzfähig . Das 100 Prozentige Hundespielzeug gibt es wohl nicht , daher ist dieses ganz in Ordnung und besser wie viele die wir nach einer Woche komplett entsorgen mussten. Ich würde dieses Hundespielzeug wieder kaufen .
