Works perfect and just what I needed for a 2ndary pc
It works perfect for what I'm using it for. I have a secondary computer that was fairly new and when I was switching out the Wi-Fi card to a better one, wire on one of them snapped (wire on board). The computer was a budget model and didn't feel like buying another one or paying a professional to fuse the wire back to the board. Purchased this.it works perfect. Connects to Wi-Fi 6 and no more errors. Very easy to install, but I downloaded the install firmware from their website first. speed are good and everything loads quicker and snappy. For my needs, it's perfect. For the price, no complaints.

Works for me
Didn't immediately find my wireless router in Windows XP, but after manually entering the profile and rebooting, there it was connected. I used the driver-only installation off the included CD, and it worked for both Windows XP and Windows 7 after I finished upgrading that same computer. After re-installing the drivers on the fresh install of Windows 7, the adapted did find my wireless network on its own, so the original issue might have just been a Windows XP issue. I can't speak to speed other than it seems to easily keep up with my wireless-G router. When I get the wireless-N unit set up, I may try to update the review.Either way, worked and continues to work, and for the price it's hard to beat.

Not Worth The Hassle
So I did not contact tech support. Maybe it would have helped, but there's too much that I feel is wrong.1. The box says driver free. - But you are instructed to download a driver. ????2. The box has a sticker on the back to contact support. This was something they had to have printed then stuck on the back of the product. Now that tells me two things, 1) at least they are trying to fix a known issue. And 2) they have had design issues and something's not working.I followed the instructions provided. Once I plugged it in to my PC, an icon popped up notifying me of a new drive. I tried to right-click but the wheel kept spinning, never doing anything. Freezing up file explorer and not allowing me to do anything else.Unplugged, tried again, same thing. But now the icon was more fleshed out to an image. Progress?I downloaded the driver for this driver-less device. Did the install, now I can't even get an icon.Restarted the computer as directed. It froze up during restart, had to do it again.Still didn't work. Left the USB plugged in, frustrated I thought I'd try it later.A couple of hours later, success! It worked! For less than a half hour I had wi-fi.I could have contacted support, I did not.I bought a 40' cat6 Ethernet cord for 1/3rd the price. I will return this tomorrow.Direct connection is better anyway, had I done that in the first place, I'd be enjoying the fiber internet I'm paying for.

Tenda USB WIFI adapter works great
When the wifi card in my desktop computer slowed down to single digit speed on downloads, it was time to replace it. This Tenda AX1800 dongle was the best answer - especially at about $20 as an Amazon Prime member. I am getting good speed - even 45 feet away from the router through interior walls and doors. The device also comes with a 3 year warranty. I based my choice for Tenda on personal experience. I was already using another Tenda 1300 on a different computer and that's been going strong for years. I expect this one to last for years as well.

Does the Job
This is an amazing little piece of equipment for 6 dollars. It works just as described and so far, so good. The signal strength doesn't always say good or very good, but the internet still seems plenty fast. This may be that I have an older wireless router. 10 bucks total and you can't really go wrong, thank you Tenda for saving me the extra 15-20 bucks. The software is quick and easy to load and I'm running XP x64.

Works great...when it works
Works sometimes but keeps dropping out. Tech support was nonexistent. We sent as few emails back and forth but to no avail. I'm running windows 10 and have all my drivers updated but still very unreliable.

Weak signal
I've bought this one to connect a Raspberry Pi to the internet. Had a few issues, such as:- The adapter would not stay connected for more than a few minutes;- The signal was too weak (at 3ft from the router);- It seemed to pick up interference from the wireless keyboard (not confirmed).I switched from channel 13 to a lower channel in my router and got a better (but still not very good) signal. The connection drops seemed to be related to the USB hub, had to use the USB port in the Pi itself. After that I got a more stable connection.Other than that, it worked in Raspbian, Openelec, and Windows 8. Plug-and-play. Seems to be a good adapter, as long as you don't go too far from your router. It also heats up a lot. Not sure if it's a problem, but surely seems like a waste of energy.[EDIT] Well... after some more tests, I decided to take another star off. The adapter is good enough for browsing the web, but not for media streaming. Some files will stream reasonably well but stutter occasionally. Higher bitrate files will just keep stuttering all the time. The adapter and the router are in adjacent rooms, I would expect a better connection. Back to wired for now...
